Battery Disposal
Separating Battery for Disposal (for vehicles with separable batteries)
Safely separate your vehicle battery for disposal by following these instructions:

Then, pull the release lever on top of the battery with one hand and slide the battery towards the front of the bike. Hold on to the battery with both hands carefully in order not to drop the battery. The keys are only needed to remove the battery. You can ride the bike without having the keys inserted into the lock.
WARNING: Disconnect any power source and make sure it is safe before separating the battery.
