Battery Separation and Disposal
Separating Battery for Disposal
For vehicles where the battery can be separated from the vehicle:
Safely separate your vehicle battery for disposal by following these instructions:

Procedure:
- Unlock battery (Position 1). Ensure the lock bolt has retracted fully and the opening in the battery rail is clear.
- Hold the bike with one hand and the battery handle with the other.
- Give the battery a sharp tug to remove it from the rail. Brand new batteries may require a firm tug. Be careful not to injure yourself.
WARNING: Disconnect any power source and ensure it is safe before separating the battery.
