Product Description

This document provides instructions and information for the Yeelight Ceiling Light A2001R900.

Key components include the Shade, Shade buckle, Safety buckle, Lock switch, Base plate, Wiring hole, Threading hole, Self-tapping screw mounting hole, and a Remote control.

Mounting Instructions

Drilling

1. Open the package and take out the various parts of the ceiling light.
2. Use an impact drill with an 8 mm diameter to make holes with a depth of at least 40 mm. Then mount four expansion tubes into the holes.
3. Thread the power cord through the wiring hole. Use self-tapping screws to fix the base plate securely on the ceiling.
4. Verify the base plate is securely mounted.

Connect the Power Cord

1. The wiring hole is suitable for power leads with a cross-sectional area of 1.5-2.5 mm². Strip the power cord by 11-13 mm.
2. Connect the neutral wire to the port marked [N], the ground wire to the port marked with a [grounding sign], and the live wire to the port marked [L].
3. Tidy up the power cord and check whether the wiring is firm.

Important Notes:

• Ensure the neutral and live wires are connected to the correct ports ([N] and [L] respectively) to avoid the light beads emitting weak light.
• Before mounting, disconnect the power supply to prevent electric shock. Improper mounting can lead to accidents such as falls, fire, or electric shock.
• Make sure to disconnect the power when disassembling the light.

Mounting the Base Plate

1. Hold the base plate with both hands and align it vertically with the center of the base coupler through the circular transparent part in the center of the base plate.
2. Push the base plate upwards vertically. After hearing a "click" sound, visually check that the lock on the base plate is aligned with the lock switch position.
3. After the base plate is mounted, rotate it left and right to ensure the two symmetrical lock switches are back in the lock position.
4. Rotate the two metal safety buckle switches in the center of the base plate to their locked positions.

Mount the Shade

1. Open all the hooks.
2. Hold both sides of the shade with both hands and fully insert it into the backboard.
3. Rotate the hooks to fix the shade securely.

Connect to Yeelight App

This product can be controlled via the Yeelight App and integrated with other Yeelight products.

Download App

Search for "Yeelight" in an App store or scan the provided QR code to download and install the App.

Add Device

• On the Yeelight App homepage, tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner to add your device.
• Follow the on-app instructions for configuration.
• Once added successfully, the device will appear in the device list.

Note: The operation procedure may differ due to App updates.

This product also supports control via Mi home, Google Home App, and Amazon Alexa. Download and install one of these apps, and configure your device as instructed.

Apple HomeKit Smart Control

1. Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap "Add Accessories" and follow the instructions to scan the QR code (found on the user manual back cover or junction box) or enter the 8-digit setup code to grant access.

Requirements:

• A Wi-Fi network with internet access is required (this product does not support 5 GHz networks).
• For HomeKit control, iOS 9.0 or above is recommended.
• The HomeKit setup code is provided in the user manual and on the junction box. Keep it safe. If the manual is lost, remove the lampshade to find the QR code or setup code on the junction box.

Restore to Factory Settings

Use the wall switch to turn the ceiling light on and off seven consecutive times. Wait for two seconds after turning it off, then turn it on and wait for two seconds; this counts as one cycle. The ceiling light will then start breathing and automatically restart after five seconds, restoring its factory settings. If you are connecting the light to a new network environment, you may need to restore the factory settings and reconnect.

Precautions

• Ensure the voltage is consistent with the ceiling light's operating voltage to prevent damage and safety hazards.
• Do not attempt to replace the light source yourself; it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, after-sales service, or a qualified electrician.
• The ceiling light generates heat during operation; ensure it is well-ventilated for heat dissipation.
• Control via app or remote control does not cut off power; do not touch, replace, or disassemble the light while it is connected to electricity, as this may cause electric shock, injury, or death.
• Installation requires a qualified electrician, and wiring must comply with IEEE electrical standards or national standards.
• Install the ceiling light in a stable location to prevent it from dropping or falling off.
• Under normal use, maintain a separation distance of at least 20cm between the antenna and the user's body.
• This product is for indoor use only.
• The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
