Installation Instructions

1. Determine the installation location

Take the ceiling light out of the package. Push the latch switches inwards and remove the base. Use the base to determine the installation location.

⚠️ Important Safety Note: Always disconnect the power supply before installing the ceiling light to avoid electric shocks. Follow the installation instructions precisely. Improper installation may lead to electric shocks, fire, or the lamp body falling down. For your own safety, please hire a qualified electrician for installation.

2. Install the Base

Method a: Drill two holes (Ø6 mm, depth ≥25 mm) in the ceiling. Insert wall anchors into the drilled holes. Feed the cables through the designated opening in the mounting base. Secure the base to the ceiling using the self-tapping screws. Verify that the base is securely fixed.

Method b: Ensure the mounting base is correctly positioned. Feed the cables through the designated opening from behind and secure the base to the ceiling using the metric screws, ensuring it is firmly fixed.

3. Wiring

The wiring terminals are suitable for cables with a cross-section of 1.5-2.5 mm². Strip approximately 11-13 mm of the cable insulation. Connect the live wire to terminal L, the neutral wire to terminal N, and the grounding wire to the grounding terminal (marked with the grounding symbol ⏚). To remove wires, press the red button above the terminal opening.

⚠️ Grounding is a must!

Route the cables as shown in the diagram and verify that the wiring is secure and correctly performed.

4. Attach the Lamp Body

Hold the lamp body firmly with both hands on the sides (ensure fingers are not pinched between the base and the lamp body). Push the lamp body against the base, applying even pressure on both sides simultaneously. You will hear a "click" when the lamp body is locked into the base. After installation, rotate the lamp body left and right, and pull it up and down to confirm that the latch switches are engaged and the lamp body is securely fixed.

⚠️ Safety Check: Ensure the lamp is correctly mounted. If not, the lamp body may fall down.

Quick Setup in Yeelight App

This product is compatible with the Yeelight Smart Platform. It can be controlled via the Yeelight App, supports the MIUI system, and can interconnect with other Yeelight smart products.

1. Download the App

Scan the QR code [QR code for Yeelight App] or download the Yeelight App from your device's app store.

2. Add your device

Open the Yeelight App, tap the "+" icon on the upper right, and follow the on-screen prompts to add your device.

Link a Yeelight Device with Google Assistant

Add the Yeelight service to your Google Assistant App to control Yeelight-connected devices via Google Assistant.

1. Tap the [Google Assistant icon] in the Google Assistant app, search for "Yeelight", tap "Link", and sign in with your Yeelight account.
2. Tap in Settings > Home control to add a device, and follow the on-screen instructions. Once your accounts are linked, you can control your Yeelight device via Google Assistant.

Link a Yeelight Device with Amazon Alexa

Enable the Yeelight skill in the Amazon Alexa app to control Yeelight-connected devices via Amazon Alexa.

1. Tap the [Amazon Alexa icon] in the Amazon Alexa app, then tap "Skills & Games". Search for "Yeelight", select the desired skill, and tap "Enable". Sign in with your Yeelight account.
2. After successfully linking the accounts, tap "Discover Devices" to add the device, and follow the on-screen instructions. Once the accounts are linked, you can control your Yeelight device from Amazon Alexa.

How To Reset

Turn the light on and off five times using the physical switch (with a 2-second interval between each ON/OFF cycle). The ceiling light will start blinking, and after 5 seconds, it will automatically restart and reset to factory settings. This reset is necessary before connecting the ceiling light to a new network environment.

Warnings

1. Check the voltage before using this product. Improper voltage may damage the product and cause safety hazards.
2. The light source is not replaceable. Please ask an electrician to replace the luminaries if necessary.
3. The ceiling light will produce heat during operation. Please ensure cross-ventilation to facilitate heat dissipation.
4. This ceiling light works with both remote control and mobile application. The power is not actually cut off when the ceiling light is turned off either by remote control or by mobile application. It is forbidden to contact, exchange, or disassemble the ceiling light under this circumstance in case of electric shock or worse.
5. Please ask electricians for installation or maintenance. Wiring shall comply with IEEE Standard or national rules and regulations.
