Safety Instructions
SAFE: Read and follow all safety instructions. Note all warnings on the device and in the user manual. Refer to authorized personnel for repairs.
Keep the user guide for future reference. Keep the device away from moisture and high temperatures to prevent fire or electric shock. Ensure the device is placed on a stable, flat surface before installation. Verify the power voltage is within the 100-240V range and properly connected to a grounded outlet. Disconnect the power cord or turn off the outlet when the device is not in use to achieve zero power consumption. Do not cover the fan to prevent overheating. Avoid storage in environments with temperatures above 60°C or below -20°C. Maximum operating temperature is around 40°C. When cleaning, unplug the device and use a soft cloth; avoid industrial chemicals. Do not pour liquid into openings.
Important Safety Precautions:
- Position the power cord to prevent tripping hazards. Do not place anything on the power cord.
- Keep strong magnetic or electrical objects away from the device.
- Refer to service personnel if the power cord or plug is damaged, liquid has entered the device, the device has been exposed to moisture, the device is not functioning properly, or the device has been dropped or shows signs of damage.

- Reduced power consumption during use and standby.
- Limited use of environmentally and health-harming substances.
- Easy disassembly and recycling.
- Limited use of natural resources through recycling encouragement.

Vision Warning: Excessive screen time may affect vision.
Recommendations:
- Take a 10-minute break for every 30 minutes of screen time.
- Children under 2 years should not spend any time on screen. For children aged 2 and above, screen time should be limited to less than one hour per day.

Installing the Monitor Stand (Optional)
For MAG241C/MAG241CV/MAG271C/MAG271CV:
- Place the monitor on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the base to the stand.
- Tighten the base screw to secure the stand.
For MAG241CP/MAG241CR/MAG271CP/MAG271CR:
- Align the stand with the monitor.
- Connect the base to the stand.
- Tighten the base screw to secure the stand.
IMPORTANT: Place the monitor on a soft, protected surface to avoid scratches on the screen panel.
Adjusting the Monitor
This monitor is designed for optimal viewing comfort with adjustable tilt and lift capabilities.
IMPORTANT: Avoid touching the screen panel when adjusting the monitor.
The monitor allows for tilt adjustment (up to 25°) and height adjustment (up to 130mm).
Models supported for adjustment include:
- Optix MAG241CR, Optix MAG241CP, Optix MAG241C
- Optix MAG241CR, Optix MAG241CP, Optix MAG241CV

Monitor Overview
The monitor features:

IMPORTANT: Connect the USB upstream cable to your PC and the monitor. Once connected, the Type-A USB ports on the monitor will be ready for use.
Connecting the Monitor to Your PC
- Turn off your computer.
- Connect the HDMI/DisplayPort cable from the monitor to your computer.
- Connect the power cord to the monitor's power port (Figure A).
- Connect the power cord to the electrical outlet (Figure B).
- Turn on the monitor (Figure C).
- Select your input source in the OSD menu and turn on your computer.
OSD Setup
This chapter provides important information for OSD setup. Information is subject to change without prior notice.
Navigation Key
The monitor comes with a navigation key, a multi-directional controller to help you navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.
The default settings for the navigation key are as follows:

Navigation Key Operations:
- Up (↑): Game Mode (Gaming Mode). Press the Middle button to save and exit. Press Up/Down buttons to adjust. Press Left button to cancel adjustment and exit.
- Down (↓): Screen Assistance (Screen Helper). Press the Middle button to save and exit. Press Up/Down buttons to adjust. Press Left button to cancel adjustment and exit.
- Left (←): Alarm Clock (Timer). Press the Middle button to save and exit. Press Up/Down buttons to select. Press Left button to cancel selection and exit.
- Right (→): Input Source. Press the Middle button to save and exit. Press Up/Down buttons to select. Press Left button to exit.
Direct Access Button Operations:
- Brightness: Press the Middle button to save and exit. Press Up/Down buttons to adjust. Press Left button to cancel and exit. Default brightness for FHD is 80.
- Refresh Rate: Press the Middle button to confirm and exit. Press the Right button to enable and the Left button to disable Refresh Rate.
OSD Menu Navigation:
Press the navigation key's Middle button to open the main OSD menu. Use the Up, Down, Left, and Right buttons to fine-tune the desired function menus to your preferences.
Gaming (GAME):

Troubleshooting
LED Power Indicator is Off:
- Press the monitor's power button again.
- Check if the monitor's power cord is properly connected.
No Image:
- Check if the computer's graphics card is installed correctly.
- Ensure the computer and monitor are plugged into working electrical outlets and are powered on.
- Verify the monitor's signal cable is properly connected.
- The computer may be in standby mode. Press any key to wake the monitor.
Incorrect Screen Size or Centering:
Refer to the Preset Display Modes to set the computer to a display setting suitable for the monitor.
No Positioning and Immediate Operation:
- Check if the monitor's power cord is properly connected.
- Check if the monitor's signal cable is properly connected.
- Ensure the computer and graphics card are compatible with Positioning and Immediate Operation.
Icons, Font, or Screen is Blurry, Dim, or Has Color Issues:
- Avoid using video extension cables.
- Adjust brightness and contrast.
- Adjust RGB color or color temperature.
- Check if the monitor's signal cable is properly connected.
- Check for bent pins on the signal cable connector.
Monitor Flickers or Shows Waves:
- Change the refresh rate to match your monitor's capabilities.
- Update your graphics card drivers.
- Keep the monitor away from electrical devices that may cause electromagnetic interference (EMI).
