This document provides instructions for setting up and using your MSI Optix LCD monitor.

Monitor Stand Installation
For Optix G24C6 / Optix G27C6
- Keep the monitor in its protective foam packaging. Align the stand bracket with the slot on the monitor.
- Secure the stand bracket by screwing in the screws.
- Attach the stand base to the stand and tighten the base screw.
- When attaching the stand cover, align the latches.
- Before placing the monitor upright, ensure the stand is properly installed.

For Optix G24C6P / Optix G27C6P
- Keep the monitor in its protective foam packaging. Align the stand bracket with the slot on the monitor.
- Secure the stand bracket by screwing in the screws.
- Attach the stand base to the stand and tighten the base screw.
- Before placing the monitor upright, ensure the stand is properly installed.
Important: Place the monitor on a soft, protected surface to prevent scratching the display panel. Do not touch the panel with sharp objects. The stand installation slot can also be used for wall mounting. Consult your retailer for a suitable wall mount kit.

Monitor Adjustment
This monitor offers adjustment options for maximum viewing comfort.
Important: Do not touch the display panel when adjusting the monitor.
- Optix G24C6 / Optix G27C6: The monitor can be tilted from -5° to 20°.
- Optix G24C6P / Optix G27C6P: The monitor can be tilted from -5° to 20° and adjusted vertically by up to 130mm.

Port Identification
- 1. Power Button: Turns the monitor on/off.
- 2. Navi Key: A multi-directional joystick for OSD navigation.
- 3. Kensington Lock: For securing the monitor.
- 4. Power Input: Connects the power adapter.
- 5. HDMI Port: High-Definition Multimedia Interface port.
- 6. DisplayPort: Connects to compatible devices.
- 7. Headphone Jack: For audio output.
Connecting Monitor to PC
- Turn off the computer.
- Connect the monitor's video cable to the computer.
- Connect the monitor's power adapter and the AC power cord (Diagram A).
- Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input (Diagram B).
- Connect the AC power cord to the electrical outlet (Diagram C).
- Turn on the monitor (Diagram D).
- After powering on the computer, the monitor will automatically detect the signal source.

OSD Settings
This chapter provides basic information about OSD settings.
Important: Information is subject to change without prior notice.
Navi Key (Joystick)
The monitor is equipped with a Navi Key, a directional controller that simplifies navigation within the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu.
- Up / Down / Left / Right: Used to select menus and function items, adjust function values, and open/close function menus.
- Pressing the Button (OK): Opens the OSD menu, enters submenus, and confirms selections or settings.
Quick Key
- Moving the Navi Key up, down, left, or right when the OSD menu is not displayed allows access to Game Mode, Screen Assistance, Alarm Clock, and Input Source functions.
- Users can assign custom shortcuts to the quick keys for accessing various function menus.

Troubleshooting
- LED Power Indicator Not Lit: Press the monitor power button again. Ensure the monitor's AC power cord is properly connected.
- No Image: Check if the graphics card is installed correctly. Ensure the computer and monitor are plugged into working electrical outlets and are powered on. Verify the monitor's signal cable is properly connected. The computer might be in standby mode; activate the monitor by pressing any button.
- Image Size Incorrect or Not Centered: Refer to the preset display modes and use the computer's settings appropriate for the monitor.
- No Plug & Play Function: Ensure the monitor's AC power cord is properly connected. Verify the monitor's signal cable is properly connected. Check if the computer and graphics card are compatible with Plug & Play.
- Icons, Font, or Screen Unclear, Blurred, or Incorrect Colors: Do not use any extension video cables. Adjust brightness and contrast. Adjust RGB color or fine-tune color temperature. Ensure the monitor's signal cable is properly connected. Check for bent pins in the signal cable connector.
- Monitor Flickering or Displaying Waves: Change the refresh rate to match your monitor's capabilities. Update your graphics card drivers. Keep the monitor at a safe distance from electrical devices that may cause electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Safety Instructions
- Read and follow these safety instructions carefully.
- Adhere to all warnings and cautions on the device or in the user manual.
- Only qualified service technicians should perform repairs.
- Keep the user manual for future reference.
- To prevent fire or electric shock, keep this device away from moisture and high temperatures.
- Place the device on a stable, level surface before connecting it.
- Before plugging into an electrical outlet, check that the voltage is within the safe range and set correctly for 100~240 V. Do not disable the protective grounding pin on the plug. This device must be connected to a grounded electrical outlet.
- If the device will not be used for an extended period, always unplug the AC power cord or turn off the electrical outlet to conserve energy.
- The device's fan provides ventilation and prevents overheating. Do not cover the fan.
- Do not leave the device in environments with temperatures above 60°C or below -20°C, as this may cause damage.
- NOTE: The maximum operating temperature is around 40°C.
- Before cleaning, disconnect the AC power cord. Use a soft cloth for cleaning and avoid chemical cleaners. Never pour any liquid into openings, as this could damage the device or cause electric shock.
- Position the power cord so that it is not stepped on. Do not place anything on the power cord.
- Keep objects with strong magnetic or electric fields away from the device.
- If any of the following situations occur, have the device inspected by a service technician:
- The power cord or plug is damaged.
- Liquid has entered the device.
- The device has been exposed to moisture.
- The device is not functioning properly or as described in the user manual.
- The device has been dropped and damaged.
- The device shows obvious signs of damage.
- To prevent the monitor from tipping over, secure it to a desk, wall, or sturdy object with a bracket that prevents tipping and keeps it securely in place.
Important: Ensure the building's electrical system includes a 120/240 V, 20 A (maximum) circuit breaker.
Regulatory Information
CE Declaration of Conformity
This device complies with the requirements of the harmonization directives of the member states regarding electromagnetic compatibility (2014/30/EU), low voltage (2014/35/EU), ErP (2009/125/EC), and RoHS (2011/65/EU). Based on testing of this product, it has been found to comply with harmonized standards for IT equipment issued under European Union directives.

Warning! Excessive screen viewing may cause eye damage.
Recommendations:
- Take a 10-minute break for every 30 minutes of screen viewing.
- Children under 2 years of age should not look at the screen. Children aged 2 and above should only view for limited periods, less than one hour per day.
