02 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Exterior Components:
The device is a large, enclosed cylinder with a rounded top. Key external features include:
- Cylinder: The main body of the litter box.
- Fisheye Camera: Located at the front, non-detachable, for monitoring.
- Standard Litter Sifter P99022: An alternative sifter, exclusive for tofu and mixed cat litter.
- Handle: Located on the front side, used for lifting and moving the device.
- Menu Button: Used to navigate device settings.
- OLED Display Screen: Shows device status and information.
- OK Button: Used to confirm selections.
- Wheel: Located at the bottom for mobility.

- Magnetic Side Cover: Detachable cover for access.
- Air Inlet: For ventilation.
- Breezy Smart Odor Eliminator: Device to reduce odors.
- High Performance Cat Litter Pad MAX P9220: The primary litter pad, described as anti-stick, waterproof, and scratch-resistant.
- Camera Indicator Light: Shows camera status.
- Microphone: For audio capture.
- Fill Light: Illuminates the interior for the camera.
- Proximity Sensor: Detects the cat's presence.
- Y-shaped Slot: For securing the trash bag drawstring.

03 PRODUCT INSTALLATION
3.1 Install Trash Bag:
- Press the latch to the right to open the door.
- Press the back latch to pull out the waste bin.
- Remove the lid and place the trash bag in the waste bin, ensuring it lies flat. Fold the trash bag along the dashed line so the line is on the edge of the waste bin.
- Pull the drawstring through the Y-shaped slot to secure it.
- Install the lid. Ensure buckles do not press the drawstring and the dashed line is on the waste bin edge.
3.2 Install N50 and N60:
- Place the N50 (Pet Odor Eliminator) in its designated spot and press firmly to secure it.
- Install the waste bin back into the device.
- Close the door.
- Remove the magnetic side cover.
- Place the N60 (Pet Odor Eliminator) into the smart odor eliminator compartment.
- Install the magnetic side cover back.
- Insert the power adapter into the device and connect it to the power source.
04 PRODUCT USAGE
4.1 Device Binding:
Connect the device with the app before first use. It can only be used after a successful connection.
- Download the App: Download the PETKIT App from the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code.
- Open the PETKIT App: Click the "+" icon and select "PETKIT PUROBOT MAX PRO WITH CAMERA SELF-CLEANING CAT LITTER BOX".
- Start Connection: On the device, press the menu button to switch to "Connect to the network", then press the OK button. The screen will display "Connecting". Wait for successful connection.
4.2 Pour in Cat Litter:
Cat litter size should not exceed 12 mm (0.47 in) in length and 3 mm (0.12 in) in diameter.
- Press the
[Menu Button]
to switch to "Maintenance Mode", then press the[OK Button]
to start. The cylinder will begin to rotate. - When the cylinder stops with the opening facing upward, pour in the cat litter. Press the
[OK Button]
again to exit "Maintenance Mode". - Double press the
[OK Button]
to automatically level the cat litter.
Caution: The amount of cat litter should not exceed the MAX line.
4.3 Clean the Waste Bin:
- Open the waste bin door and pull the drawstring to pack the trash bag.
- Pull out the waste bin and remove the packed trash bag.
- Install a new trash bag. Note: Please use the PETKIT specialized trash bag.
05 APP FUNCTIONS
5.1 Homepage:
- Live: View pet's activities in real-time.
- Light: Turn on/off the fill light of the camera.
- Today's timeline: Quickly find and replay saved videos by event category. (Full video playback requires PETKIT Care+ subscription).
- Main Functions: Access to core device operations.
5.2 Status Indicator:
Swipe left on the homepage to view status of N50, N60, and waste bin.
- N60: If red and "N60 has expired", replace it. After replacement, click Reset. "Normal" indicates it's installed. (Regular replacement recommended every 45 days).
- N50: If red and "N50 remaining 0 day", replace it. After replacement, click Reset. "Normal" indicates it's installed. (N50 decomposes odors like ammonia and hydrogen sulfide).
- Waste bin: "Normal" means installed. "Waste bin not installed" requires checking installation. "Waste bin full" means replace the trash bag.
5.3 Description of Functions:
- Scoop: Cleans clumps from the cylinder.
- Maintenance Mode: Rotates the cylinder for convenient litter pouring.
- Empty: Empties all cat litter from the cylinder. If the waste bin is full, it will stop and display an error. Caution: Replace the trash bag before emptying to prevent overflow.
- Deodorize: Removes odors. Modes include automatic, scheduled, and deep deodorization.
- Play Videos: View highlights and full video playback (requires PETKIT Care+).
- Highlight playback: 4-second preview.
- Full clips playback: View complete video footage.
- Speedup playback: Choose playback speed (1x, 2x, 4x) or hold screen for 2x.
- Delete video clips: Swipe left in the timeline or use the playback menu to delete.
- Privacy Protection:
- Activate/deactivate camera: Turn camera on/off. (Turning off stops video recording).
- Customize camera working time period: Set active hours for the camera. Outside these times, it's off. (Live stream available for 5 mins).
- Smart detection: Control recording of pet visits outside the box and toileting inside the box.
- Live area privacy protection: Blurs the live area on the homepage for privacy.
- Other Settings:
- Make fecal pictures clearer: Turn on "Light Assist" in Scooping Setup to automatically turn on the light during scooping.
- Cloud Storage: Videos stored for a limited time, periodically cleared. Can be downloaded. (e.g., 7-day loop).
- PETKIT Care+ service: Offers HD video playback and other privileges. Transferable once per year. Virtual commodity, non-refundable. Click here to view the PETKIT Care+ Service Agreement.
06 DESCRIPTION OF CONTROL PANEL
Control Panel Operations:
- Press and hold: Turn on/off.
- Press: Switch functions (screen displays selected function).
- Press: Execute selected function.
- Double press: Level cat litter.
Description of Displayed Functions:
- Scoop: Automatically sifts out clumps.
- Deodorize: Activates the smart odor eliminator.
- Light: Turns on the fill light for visibility.
- Level cat litter: Distributes litter evenly.
- Maintenance mode: For adding litter or cleaning.
- Empty cat litter: Empties the entire cylinder.
- Reset: Adjusts the cylinder to the correct position.
- Connect to the network: For app binding.
Description of Displayed Status:
- Network connected

- Toilet times today
Description of Other Prompts:
- Cat enters: Cat detected, device pauses and alerts.
- Insufficient cat litter: Add more litter.
- Device failure: Check app for details.
- Full waste bin: Empty the waste bin.
- Magnetic side cover not installed: Check installation.
07 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution: Disconnect power or turn off the device before cleaning.
Parts and Cleaning/Replacement:
- Cylinder: Clean inner surface with a brush.
- Fisheye Camera: Wipe with a soft cloth. Do not rinse or soak.
- Litter Sifter: Clean in time (especially with loose stools) with a brush. Replace if bent or broken. Avoid direct sunlight, do not squeeze.
- Litter Pad: Clean when dirty by wiping with a soft cloth and water. Do not scrub. Replace if it sticks to litter or is broken. Do not clean with alcohol, disinfectant, bleach, or non-neutral detergent.
- Base: Clean after detaching cylinder, wipe with a wet tissue. Do not rinse or soak.
- Proximity Sensor: Wipe with a soft cloth. Do not rinse or soak.
- Smart Odor Eliminator: Replace N60 regularly.
- N50: Replace regularly.
7.1 Empty Cat Litter Before Cleaning:
- Align magnetic cat litter remover with litter sifter; it should click into place.
- Click "Empty" in the app to empty remaining litter.
- Pinch the raised part on the left to remove the cat litter remover.
7.2 Detach Cylinder, Litter Sifter, and Litter Pad:
- Remove the magnetic side cover.
- Unlock the buckle.
- Remove the cylinder.
- Place the cylinder against a wall for stability.
- Grasp one side of the litter sifter.
- Press the litter sifter until bent, separating it from buckles (points A and B), then take it out.
- Pinch the handle of the litter pad to pull it out.
7.3 Clean Main Unit and Parts:
- Clean cylinder corners with a brush and rinse.
- Clean litter sifter with a brush and rinse. Wipe litter pad with a wet towel.
- Wipe the main unit with a wet tissue. Wipe the fisheye camera, smart odor eliminator, and proximity sensor with a soft cloth. Note: Regularly wipe the air inlet with a soft dry cloth.
7.4 Install All Parts:
Caution: Install parts only when completely dry.
- Hold the litter pad, insert the top into the groove (align arrows), then insert the bottom into the groove (align arrows).
- Press and release the litter pad; sides will insert into the groove. Ensure the green edge is fully stuck and arrows align.
- Place the litter sifter in the cylinder and insert it into point A.
- Grasp the litter sifter and press until bent.
- Insert it into point B.
- Check if the litter sifter can be shaken back and forth for successful installation.
- Place the cylinder on the base and lock the buckle securely.
- Install the magnetic side cover.

- Kittens younger than 6 months old are prohibited from using this device. Cats weighing less than 1.5 kg are prohibited from using this device.
- Do not detach or drag the camera.
- Do not scratch the lens with sharp objects.
- Do not place the device in a high-temperature or high-humidity environment.
- Please use the device indoors. Avoid direct sunlight exposure and keep fire away.
- Although the device is powered by a low voltage, electric leakage may occur if the pet bites the power cable. Please keep your pets from biting the power cable.
- Please use only the original power adapter to avoid device damage or safety hazards.
- Place the device on a firm, level surface, and avoid touching the wall.
- Do not tilt the device to avoid safety hazards.
- Do not rinse or soak the bottom of the device.
- There are weight sensors at the bottom of the device. Please handle it with care.
- Please unplug it if the device is not used for an extended period.
- Children should use this device under the supervision and guidance of adults.

- Do not place anything on the top of the device or press the top of it to avoid affecting the normal operation of the device.
