JABLOTRON JA-111H TRB Bus Module – Interface for Wired Detectors
This document provides technical specifications and installation guidance for the JA-111H TRB bus module.
Installation
Always switch off the power when connecting the module to the system bus. The power consumption of the connected detector must not exceed 50 mA (the module's power supply output is not protected against overload).
The module is intended for installation inside a standard wired detector (with contact outputs), but can also be installed externally in a protected installation box due to its extended cables.
- Install the module in a suitable location within the detector or inside the protected installation box near the detector. The cable can be extended up to a maximum of 3 m. When installing the module inside the detector, ensure it cannot be short-circuited due to poor insulation.
- Connect the wires to the detector (as per Figure 1).
- Connect the bus cable and switch on the power to the control panel.
- The control panel must be in service mode.
- Close the detector's cover with the installed module inside.
Figure 1: Description of product's internal parts and connection of module cables
The diagram shows the JA-111H TRB module connected to a detector. It illustrates the bus terminals, a production code, status LEDs, and the module's cables.
Connections:
- Bus terminals (1)
- Production code (2)
- LEDs (3): Yellow LED indicates fault/unregistered device, Red LED indicates blinking activation of any input.
- Module cables (4)
