JABLOTRON JA-111H TRB Busmodule
Interface for Wired Detectors
Manufacturer: JABLOTRON a.s.
Introduction
This document provides information for the JABLOTRON JA-111H TRB busmodule. It is a machine translation from the original English version. For clarity or doubts, please refer to the original document. Contact Technical Support for any errors or questions.
The JA-111H TRB is a component of the JABLOTRON system, designed to connect wired detectors with NC/NO outputs to the control panel bus. It supplies power to the detector and reports activation, tampering, and fault conditions. Installation requires a trained technician holding a valid certificate from an authorized distributor.
Installation
⚠️ Important: Always disconnect power before connecting the module to the system bus.
The current consumption of the connected detector must not exceed 50 mA. The module's power output is not protected against overload.
The module is intended for installation inside a standard wired detector (with contact outputs). However, its extended wires allow for installation outside the detector in a protected junction box.
Installation Steps:
- Install the module in a suitable location within the detector or in a protected junction box near the detector. The cable length should not exceed 3 meters. Ensure that the module, when installed inside the detector, does not cause short circuits due to poor insulation.
- Connect the wires to the detector according to Figure 1.
- Connect the bus cable and then switch on the power to the control panel.
- Ensure the control panel is in service mode.
- Close the detector cover with the installed module.
Diagram and Wiring Description
Figure 1: Module Components and Wiring
This figure shows the internal components of the JA-111H TRB module and the connection of its wires. It depicts the BUS terminals, a production code identifier, and the module's four wires. A yellow LED indicates a fault or unregistered device, while a red LED flashes to signal the activation of any input.
The module's wires are color-coded and have specific functions:
- Red wire: +12V – Provides power to the detector.
- Black wire: GND – Common ground connection.
- White wire: INP – Connects to the alarm input of the detector.
- Blue wire: TMP – Connects to the tamper input of the detector.
- Yellow wire: TRB – Connects to the trouble input of the detector.
The diagram also illustrates the BUS connection terminals and the internal connections within a detector, labeled as GND, +12V, PIR, TMP, and TRB.
