If you intend to use the sprayer hole in your sink for your dispenser, you may need a basin wrench and a 1/8" (3 mm) plug or a 1/4" (6 mm) cap (not supplied) for the faucet spray hose line.
If you need to cut a mounting hole in your stainless steel sink, you may need a 1-1/4" - 1-1/2" (3.2 cm - 3.8 cm) hole saw made for cutting stainless steel or a hole punch. Consult a professional if you are drilling into a surface other than stainless steel.

Step 1: Diagram 1 shows the InSinkErator Instant Hot Water Dispenser faucet. It illustrates the main spout, the handle for dispensing water, and various connection points for water lines. Key components are labeled with numbers corresponding to the parts list.
Step 2: Diagram 2 shows the required minimum distance from the center of the hole to the wall (1-1/8" or 25 mm for all listed models) and the required hole size for mounting the dispenser (1-1/4" to 1-1/2" or 32 mm to 38 mm). It also notes that the required distance may depend on the model.
Step 3: Diagram 3 shows the Hot Water Tank (11) and Filter Head and Cartridge (12). The tank is a cylindrical unit, and the filter head attaches to it, with the cartridge fitting into the head. Screws (13) are shown for mounting.
Step 4 (Hot Models Only): This step is for HOT models only; COOL models should skip to Step 9. It shows connecting water inlet tubes (4) to the dispenser faucet.

To prevent electrical shock, disconnect power before servicing unit. Use only a properly earthed and polarised electric outlet.
This limited warranty is provided by InSinkErator, a business unit of Emerson Electric Co., to the original consumer owner of the InSinkErator product and any subsequent owner of the residence. InSinkErator warrants the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the Warranty Period, commencing on the later of the installation date, purchase date, or date of manufacture. Proof of purchase or installation date is required.
What is Covered: Defects in materials or workmanship for residential use only, including replacement parts and labor costs. The sole remedy is repair or replacement of the product, or a refund/credit at InSinkErator's discretion.
What is Not Covered: Losses or damages due to accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, neglect, failure to install/maintain according to instructions or codes, normal wear and tear (cosmetic rust, scratches, dents), or damages caused by other products used with the dispenser. Warranty void if installed in a commercial or industrial application.
What InSinkErator Will Do: If a covered claim is made during the Warranty Period, InSinkErator will repair or replace the product at no cost to the customer. Services will be provided at the customer's home. The warranty on a replacement product is limited to the unexpired term of the original warranty.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Manufacturer or its authorized service representatives be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages, including economic loss. Manufacturer's liability shall not exceed the price paid by the original owner for the product.
This warranty is void if the product is tampered with or attempted to be repaired by unauthorized personnel.
