R. STAHL Circuit Breaker 8530/1-MCB-STA103-B40-000-3
Article No. 272167
Product Overview
The R. STAHL 8530 series circuit breakers are designed for systems in hazardous areas. They offer good current limitation in case of short circuits and high breaking capacity (10, 15, or 25 kA), leading to reduced stress on electrical lines and improved selectivity with connected fuses. These modules feature a modular design, are available in 1 to 4 pole configurations, and support nominal currents from 0.5–63 A. The maximum mounting capacity is 4.5 division units.
Key features include:
- Circuit breaker function according to EN 60947-2
- Energy limitation class 3
- Simple replacement or expansion of installations due to modular design
- Easy mounting via DIN rail clip in Ex e enclosures
- Fixed thermal and magnetic trip adjustment
- Ergonomic operating lever for safe connection and disconnection
- Protection against re-energization during maintenance using padlocks (Accessories)

Technical Diagrams
Trip Time Characteristic Curve
A graph shows the trip time in seconds and minutes against the current in Amperes. The curve is labeled 'Characteristic B' and 'Limit from cold state'. It indicates trip times for AC and DC currents.
Dimensional Drawings
Diagrams illustrate the dimensions of the circuit breaker. One diagram shows the overall dimensions with width, height, and depth measurements, including inch equivalents. Another diagram shows the terminal connections and mounting details.
