Note: Standard tightening torques are for strength class 8.8. For special tightening torques, refer to your specialist workshop.

- These instructions are written based on current knowledge and are subject to technical modifications.
- The order of assembly steps must be followed.
- Touratech accepts no liability for incorrectly fitted parts or resulting material damage or personal injury.
- Observe applicable road vehicle (construction and use) regulations as well as EC/ECE Directives and applicable laws in your country. If parts are fitted which require inspection and/or approval after fitting, take your vehicle to a testing station immediately and have the vehicle papers updated.
- Check and if necessary tighten all bolted connections after 50 km.
- Please take into account that fitting panniers, crash bars, foot peg lowering kits (rider and pillion), Kickstand enlargmentplate, front spoilers and engine guards may restrict the bike's lean angle.
- If modifications are made to the fairing, stem, handlebar, fairing parts, etc., ensure that electrical wiring, brake lines, accelerator and clutch cables are refitted correctly. Check clearance, both sides with full steering lock.
- Always disconnect the battery when working on the electrics. ⚠️
- We recommend cutting protective film to size and applying it to impact areas that are likely to be chipped by stones.
- Work on the brake system and suspension should always be carried out by a specialist workshop.
- The maximum load on luggage racks is 5 kg! Luggage racks ZegaPro TC is 10 kg!
- If other original accessories or aftermarket accessories are used, ensure clearance, fitment and do not come into contact with other parts!
- Apply conventional lubricant to stainless steel bolts prior to assembly.

Installation Steps
Step 1: Preparation
Remove any existing components from the front fairing area as indicated by the diagram (indicated by the text 'remove' and an arrow pointing to a section of the motorcycle's front fairing).
Step 2: Attach Upper Bracket
Attach the upper bracket to the motorcycle's upper fairing mount using one (1) spacer (5 mm, M5 x 12) and one (1) bolt.
Step 3: Position Main Guard
Align the main guard structure with the mounting points on the motorcycle's front.
Step 4: Attach Lower Bracket
Attach the lower mounting bracket to the motorcycle frame or lower fairing using the provided hardware.
Step 5: Secure Main Guard
Secure the main guard structure to the upper and lower brackets using two (2) spacers (5 mm, M5 x 18) and two (2) bolts.
Step 6: Attach Quick-Release Component 1
Attach one part of the quick-release mechanism to the main guard using two (2) M4 x 8 bolts.
Step 7: Attach Quick-Release Component 2
Attach the other part of the quick-release mechanism to the main guard using two (2) M6 x 10 bolts.
Step 8 & 9: Mount Assembled Guard
Mount the assembled headlight guard to the motorcycle, connecting it to the designated mounting points. The quick-release mechanism allows for easy attachment and removal.
