General Recommendations & Safety
We recommend installation by appropriately trained personnel. These instructions are based on current knowledge and are subject to technical modifications. Touratech is not liable for incorrect installation or resulting damages.
Observe all applicable national and European road vehicle regulations. If parts require inspection after fitting, present your vehicle to a testing station immediately.
[Warning] Always disconnect the battery before working on electrical systems!
Check and tighten all bolted connections after 50 km. Consult a workshop for special torque specifications.
Be aware that fitting accessories like panniers, crash bars, or lowering kits may restrict the motorcycle's lean angle.
When modifying fairings or controls, ensure cables and lines are refitted correctly and check for full steering lock clearance and free movement of all functional parts.
We recommend applying protective film to areas prone to stone chips.
Work on the brake system and suspension should only be performed by trained personnel.
Maximum load for standard luggage racks is 5 kg; for ZegaPro TC racks, it is 10 kg.
Verify clearance and check for collisions when using original or aftermarket accessories.
Apply conventional lubricant to stainless steel bolts before assembly.
These instructions are also available as a PDF download from the Touratech webshop.
