Important Safety Instructions
Follow all safety and operating instructions. Failure to do so may result in the boat overturning or exploding, leading to drowning.
- Do not exceed the maximum recommended number of persons or load capacity. Distribute loads evenly.
- Always use provided seats.
- Ensure life-saving devices like life jackets and buoys are inspected and used at all times.
- Inspect all boat components (air chambers, ropes, oars, valves) before each use. Repair any damage.
- Keep buckets, water scoops, and air pumps available for leaks or water ingress.
- Passengers must remain seated at all times to prevent falling overboard. Keep the boat balanced.
- Use the craft in sheltered waters, up to 300m (984 feet). Be aware of wind, tides, and waves. Always wear a life jacket!
- If a chamber is punctured, fully inflate the other chamber to prevent sinking.
- Be careful when landing on shore to avoid punctures from sharp objects. Do not drag the boat on rough surfaces.
- The boat is intended for beach use and short trips.
- Be aware of potential damage from liquids like battery acid, oil, or petrol.
- Inflate according to numbered chambers and rated pressure to avoid over-inflation or explosion.
- Use tow rings slowly to avoid damage.
- Know how to operate a boat and be aware of local regulations and dangers.
Installation
Kayak Setup
- Spread the kayak on level ground.
- Assemble the removable fin to the bottom of the kayak, ensuring the curvature points towards the back. Note: Assemble/disassemble the fin before inflation/deflation. Avoid shallow water to prevent fin damage.
Inflation
Never use high-pressure air. Use a HAND air pump. Inflate until the printed scale matches the supplied scale.
Note: Do not stand on the boat or place objects on it during inflation. Inflate cushions until firm but not hard. Prolonged sun exposure can shorten lifespan; avoid leaving in direct sunlight for more than 1 hour after use.
Oar Installation
Assemble the oars by connecting the shaft to the blades and couplings as shown in the diagrams (not provided here). Ensure all parts are securely fastened.
Safety Rope Installation
Insert the rope through the D-buckle holes in order, then tighten the ends of the rope to the D-buckles. Caution: Ensure ropes are fitted correctly and do not impede operation. Check tightness.
Seats and Storage Bag Assembly
After inflation, connect seat belts to side buckles. Ensure the storage bag is vertical. Seat positions can be adjusted along the center of the kayak floor. Connect the storage bag to the D-buckle.
Repair
For leaks, spray water or soapy water onto the chamber surface and look for air bubbles.
- For small punctures, use the provided repair patch according to instructions.
- For larger holes, purchase a Bestway repair kit or send the boat to a specialist.
Storage
- Remove oars from Velcro bands, detach storage bag and seats. Keep all accessories for future use.
- Clean the craft with mild soap and clean water. Do not use acetone, acid, or alkaline solutions.
- Gently dry all surfaces with a cloth. Do not dry in direct sunlight or with electric blowers.
- Deflate all hull chambers simultaneously. Then deflate the floor.
- Fold the craft from front to back to remove remaining air. A pump can also be used.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
