The boats are designed and manufactured in conformity with ABYC H-29. Boat Design Category: "SHELTERED WATERS" - Designed for voyages on sheltered coastal waters, small bays, small lakes, rivers and canals when conditions up to, and including, wind force 4 and significant wave heights up to, and including, 0.3 m may be experienced, with occasional waves of 0.5 m maximum height, for example from passing vessels.
WARNING: To avoid damage to the boat and injury to passengers, please do not exceed the data given on the builder's plate.
Important Safety Instructions
Follow all Safety and Operating Instructions. Failure to do so may cause the boat to overturn or explode, resulting in drowning.
- Do not exceed the maximum recommended number of persons or load capacity. Distribute loads appropriately to maintain trim. Avoid placing heavy weights high up.
- Always use provided seats.
- Life-saving devices such as life jackets should be pre-inspected and used at all times.
- Before each use, carefully inspect all boat components (air-chambers, grab ropes, oars, air valves) for good condition and secure attachment. Repair any damage before use.
- Keep buckets, water scoops, and air pumps available for air leakage or water intake.
- All passengers must remain seated at all times while the boat is in motion to avoid falling overboard. Keep the boat balanced.
- Use the craft in sheltered water, up to 300 m (984 feet). Be aware of natural factors like wind, tides, and currents. Always wear a life jacket!
- If one chamber is punctured, fully inflate the other air chamber to prevent sinking.
- Be careful when landing on the shore to avoid puncturing the boat on sharp objects. Do not drag the boat on rough surfaces.
- The boat is intended for beach use, short-time, and short-distance cruising.
- Be aware of the potential harmful effects of liquids such as battery acid, oil, or petrol, as they can damage the boat.
- Inflate according to the numbered air chambers and rated pressure. Over-inflation can cause potential explosion.
- If using tow rings, tow slowly to avoid damage.
- Know how to operate a boat. Seek local information and training as needed. Inform yourself about local regulations and dangers.
- The operator is responsible for the maintenance, safe conduct, and passenger safety.
- Prohibit product misuse, including riding in unsafe positions, failure to use handholds, overloading, excessive speed, operating in conditions beyond skill level, operating with impaired visibility, operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and modifications.
- Operate the boat responsibly, free from the influence of drugs and alcohol.
- Understand federal, state, and local regulations concerning operation, including discharge of oil, waste disposal, sanitation, speed, noise, and wake.
- Know accident reporting requirements.
- Owners/operators are required by law to render assistance to individuals or vessels in distress if their own vessel is not endangered.

Installation
- Spread the kayak on level ground.
- Assemble the removable fin to the bottom of the kayak, ensuring the curvature points towards the back end. Note: Assemble the fin before inflation and disassemble after deflation. Avoid entering shallow water with the fin attached to prevent damage.
Inflation
NEVER USE HIGH PRESSURE AIR TO INFLATE INFLATABLES. THIS CAN DAMAGE YOUR PRODUCT.
Inflate the air chambers using a HAND air pump. An inflation scale is provided. Inflate until the printed scale on the boat matches the level of the supplied scale.
Item | Product Inflated Size | Printed Scale | |
---|---|---|---|
Deflated Size | Inflated Size | ||
65118E | 9 ft 2 in. x 34 in. (2.80 m x 86 cm) | 5 cm / 10 cm | 5.1 cm / 10.3 cm |
65052E | 10 ft 10 in. x 34 in. (3.30 m x 86 cm) | 5 cm / 10 cm | 5.1 cm / 10.3 cm |
Never stand on or rest objects on the boat during inflation. Inflate footrest cushions until they are stiff to the touch but NOT hard.
Extended exposure to sun can shorten the lifespan of your boat. It is suggested not to leave boats in direct sunlight for more than 1 hour after use.
Oars Installation
Assemble the oars by connecting the shafts using the provided couplings. Ensure a secure fit.
Safety Rope Installation
Insert the rope through the D-buckles on both sides of the bow and stern areas. Tighten the ends of the rope to the D-buckles. Caution: Ensure safety ropes are fitted correctly and do not impede operation. Verify the rope is tightened securely.
Seats and Storage Bag Assembly
After inflating the craft, connect the seat belts to the side buckles on the craft. Ensure the storage bag is positioned vertically. The seat locations are adjustable along the center of the craft floor. Connect the storage bag to the D-buckle.
Repair
- To find leaks, spray water onto the chamber surface (soapy water works well) and look for air bubbles.
- For small punctures, use the provided repair patch according to instructions.
- For larger holes, purchase a Bestway repair kit or seek professional repair services.
Storage
- Remove oars from the Velcro oar band, and detach the storage bag and seats. Keep all accessories for future use.
- Clean the craft using mild soap and clean water. Note: Do not use acetone, acid, or alkaline solutions.
- Gently dry all surfaces with a cloth. Do not dry in direct sunlight or with equipment like electric blowers, as this can cause damage and shorten the craft's lifespan.
- Deflate the hull chambers simultaneously to ensure even pressure drop and prevent damage to inner structures. Then, deflate the floor.
- Fold the craft from front to back to remove residual air. A pump can also be used to drain remaining air.
- Store the craft in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
