For Toyota Avensis Estate (2009 onwards)
This document provides essential information for fitting the Tow-Trust TT8 towbar to a Toyota Avensis Estate, model year 2009 and later. It includes a comprehensive parts list and step-by-step fitting instructions to ensure a correct and secure installation.

Installation Steps
- Remove the lower rear under tray and towing eye.
- Remove the heat shield. Lowering the rear silencer may aid access.
- Locate and clear towbar mounting points on the chassis members.
- Loosely attach side arms (Item B) to the chassis using items J and K. Refit the towing eye to the nearside arm if applicable.
- Bolt the crossmember (Item A) to the side arms using items G.
- Attach the extension bar (Item C) to the crossmember using items E, K, F, and K.
- Secure the ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied) to Item C with items D.
- Fully tighten all nuts and bolts to ensure rigidity.
- Refit the heat shield using the longer bolt (Item H). Rivet the heat shield if necessary.
- Cut the under tray as indicated in the sketch and refit.
Notes: Recommended torque for M12 Grade 10.9 is 139 Nm. Always observe nose load limits and vehicle manufacturer's weight limits.
