The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
This product is not intended for children due to the content of electrical components. IKEA recommends that only adults should handle the recharging. Regularly examine for damage of cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. In the event of such damage, the product must not be used with the charger. Only to be supplied at SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage).
Only use batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types.
Battery Disposal: ♻️ Do not dispose of with household waste. Please follow local recycling guidelines.
Product Overview
The NÖDMAST is a portable LED lamp designed for indoor use. It features a battery-powered operation and is intended for general lighting purposes.

Assembly Instructions
The NÖDMAST lamp requires minimal assembly. Please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Assemble the Stem and Base.
Take the base and the stem. Align the stem with the designated opening on the base and insert it. Secure the stem using the provided fasteners. (Refer to diagram on page 12).
- Step 2: Attach the Lamp Head.
Align the lamp head (dome) with the top of the assembled stem. Ensure it is correctly oriented. Secure the lamp head using the provided screws. (Refer to diagram on page 13).

Battery Installation
The lamp operates on 4 x AA batteries. Please follow these steps for installation:
- Locate the battery compartment, typically at the base of the lamp.
- Use a screwdriver [Screwdriver] to open the battery compartment cover. (Refer to diagram on page 14).
- Insert 4 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close and secure the battery compartment cover.
Important:
- Only use batteries specified for this product.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types.
- Ensure batteries are inserted correctly. Incorrect insertion may cause the LED indicator to flash.
- If using non-rechargeable batteries, dispose of them responsibly according to local regulations [Proper Disposal Required].

Charging the Lamp
The NÖDMAST lamp can be charged using a USB power source. The USB-C cable and USB charger are sold separately.
Recommended Charger: IKEA SMÅHAGEL 1-port USB charger (ICPSW5-5EU-1).
Charging Procedure:
- Connect a compatible USB-C cable to the charging port on the lamp. (Refer to diagram on page 20).
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the USB charger.
- Plug the USB charger into a power outlet or connect it to a USB power source (e.g., a computer).
- The LED indicator on the lamp will show the charging status.

LED Indicator Status
The LED indicator provides information about the charging status:
- Pulsing White LED: Charging in progress [Charging].
- Steady White LED: Charging complete.
- Flashing White LED: Error. This may occur if batteries are inserted incorrectly, or if non-rechargeable or damaged batteries are inserted by mistake.

Operation
The NÖDMAST lamp is operated via a touch-sensitive control located on the base of the lamp.
- To turn on/off: Briefly touch the control.
- To adjust brightness: Press and hold the control. The brightness will cycle from low to high and back. Release when the desired brightness is reached.
- To adjust lamp direction: The lamp head can be tilted to direct the light [Lightbulb]. (Refer to diagrams on pages 26-27).

Battery Recommendations
IKEA recommends using LADDA rechargeable batteries for optimal performance and longevity.
- Recommended: LADDA rechargeable batteries, 2450 mAh, HR06 AA, 1.2V.
- Quantity required: 4 pieces.
Rechargeable batteries are sold separately.
