Important Safety and Usage Information

The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.
Warning: This product contains electrical components and is not intended for children. IKEA recommends that only adults handle charging. Regularly examine the cord, plug, enclosure, and other parts for damage. Do not use the product with the charger if any part is damaged. Only connect to SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) power sources.
Battery Usage: Use only batteries intended for this product. Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types.
Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your NÖDMAST lamp:
Step 1: Attach the lamp stem to the base. Insert the provided screws through the designated holes in the base and secure them with the knobs. Ensure the stem is firmly attached.

Step 2: Mount the lamp head onto the stem. Align the holes on the lamp head with the stem and insert the screws. Secure the lamp head by tightening the knobs.

Powering the Lamp
Battery Installation:
The lamp requires 4 x HR6/AA batteries. Rechargeable batteries are sold separately. IKEA recommends using LADDA rechargeable batteries (2450 mAh, HR06 AA, 1.2V).
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 x HR6/AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover.

USB-C Connection:
The lamp can also be powered via USB-C. The USB-C cable and USB charger are sold separately.
Connect a USB-C cable to the lamp's USB-C port and to a compatible USB power source (5V DC Min 1A, SELV or 5V DC Min 1A).

LED Indicator Status
The LED indicator on the lamp base provides information about its status:
- Pulsing white LED: Charging in progress.
- Steady white LED: Charging complete.
- Flashing white LED: Error. This can occur if batteries are inserted incorrectly, or if non-rechargeable or damaged batteries are inserted by mistake.

Operating the Lamp
The lamp is operated via a touch-sensitive control on the base.
- To turn on/off: Tap the control area.
- To adjust brightness: Press and hold the control area. The brightness will cycle up and down. Release when the desired brightness is reached.
