Product Overview

The Ocho Nails lamp is designed for professional use. It allows for rapid curing of UV/LED gels and hybrids.

Diagram Description

The device features the following components:

• 1. Motion sensor: Detects hand insertion to activate the lamp.
• 2. LED display: Shows the selected timer or remaining time.
• 3. 10s Timer Button: Sets the curing time to 10 seconds.
• 4. 30s Timer Button: Sets the curing time to 30 seconds.
• 5. 60s Timer Button: Sets the curing time to 60 seconds.
• 6. 99s Button: Sets the curing time to 99 seconds, also used for low-heat mode and power adjustment.
• 7. Power Socket: Port for connecting the power adapter.

Operating Instructions

1. Connect the device to the power supply.
2. Select the operating time (10/30/60/99s).
3. Pressing the button again puts the lamp into standby mode.
4. If a hand is inserted without selecting an operating time, the device will automatically set the time to 120 seconds.
5. After selecting an operating time between 10/30/60s or inserting a hand and activating via the motion sensor, press and hold the 99s button. This will switch the power from 54W to 75W (lamp power can only be changed when the lamp is in the operating time selection mode or via the motion sensor).
6. Press and hold the 99s button - the device will switch to low-heat mode, with power gradually increasing.
7. If the operating time is selected between 10/30/60s, the time counts down to 0. If the 99s low-heat mode is selected and automatic activation with the motion sensor is chosen, the time counts from 0 to 99s or 120s depending on the selected option.
8. The 10/30/60/99s buttons have a memory function. After a specific time is selected, the lamp remembers it, and the next time a hand is inserted, it turns on with the previously selected time.

Attention & Safety Precautions

General Cautions

• Read the instructions carefully before use.
• To avoid damaging the device, use the power adapter included in the packaging.
• To avoid device damage or electric shock, keep the lamp away from water and other liquids.
• Disconnect the device from the mains when not in use.
• Do not use the device if it is damaged.
• Do not use the device if the power supply is damaged.
• To avoid shortening the lamp's lifespan, do not operate the lamp continuously for more than 600 seconds.
• To avoid eye damage, do not look directly into the LED light during use.

Safety Measures

1. This device is professional equipment intended for use in beauty salons. Use by qualified cosmetic personnel helps avoid adverse effects during procedures.
2. Do not disassemble or attempt to use the device for purposes other than those specified in this manual. All maintenance and repairs must be performed only by authorized service technicians (ACTIV Tomasz Pacholczyk company).
3. Do not install or use the device near liquids, in wet areas, or with wet hands to prevent liquids from entering the device.
4. Immediately unplug the device and contact the authorized service company ACTIV Tomasz Pacholczyk in the following cases: a) liquid has entered the device, b) an unusual smell, smoke, or strange noises are emitted from the device, c) the power cord is damaged, d) the device has tipped over or its casing is damaged.
5. Do not place any objects on the cables. Do not install the device where someone might step on the power cable.
6. For safety reasons, unplug the power cord from the socket whenever you finish working with the device.
7. Do not insert anything into the device's openings. If a foreign object enters an opening, unplug the cable and contact the distributor or manufacturer.
8. Do not place the device on an unstable trolley, shelf, or vehicle. The device may be damaged if it falls.
9. To ensure the fixed service life of the device, it is recommended to observe a one-minute interval before pressing the power button again (between switching on and off, and vice versa).
10. The power supply must comply with the specifications indicated on the nameplate. Otherwise, there is a risk that the device may not function correctly, may be damaged, or may even burn out.

Important Notes

• If the power cord is damaged or other malfunctions occur, contact the authorized service center to avoid hazards.
• This device may be used by children aged 8 and above, and by persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities, or with insufficient experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or instructed on safe use to understand the associated risks.
• The equipment is not intended for play by children. Do not allow children to play with the device.
• Do not leave the device unattended if children or persons unfamiliar with its use are nearby.
• This electrical device is not a toy. Improper use or contact with this electrical device can pose a health hazard or cause death, so the device must be used and stored in a place inaccessible to children.

Device Disposal

Dispose of used electrical devices, accessories, and packaging at recycling centers in accordance with environmental protection principles. Do not dispose of electrical devices in household waste containers. Follow the regulations for the disposal of such equipment. To protect the environment in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment, waste electrical equipment must be collected separately and handed over to collection points for waste electrical and electronic equipment. When the service life of used devices ends, their components are fully recyclable, so they must be handed over for recycling.
