IKEA LÖNSET Slatted Bed Base Assembly Instructions

This document provides instructions for assembling the IKEA LÖNSET slatted bed base.

Parts List

Assembly Steps

  1. Step 1: Attach brackets (131189) to the side frames using screws (109594). Ensure correct orientation as shown in the diagram.
  2. Step 2: Insert springs into the lifting mechanism components. Attach the lifting mechanism (131188) to the bracket using the Allen key (100006) and screws (100229).
  3. Step 3: Attach the other side of the lifting mechanism to the corresponding bracket. Ensure the mechanism is correctly seated.
  4. Step 4: Place the curved slats into the designated slots on the frame. Ensure the correct number and orientation of slats are used.
  5. Step 5: Insert the straight slats into their positions.
  6. Step 6: Attach the lifting mechanism supports to the frame using screws (100006).
  7. Step 7: Attach the remaining brackets (131190) to the frame using screws (109594).
  8. Step 8: Secure the frame further using screws (100229).
  9. Step 9: Ensure all slats are correctly positioned and secured.
  10. Step 10: Attach the lifting straps (139221) to the mechanism and the frame.
  11. Step 11: Connect the lifting mechanism components. Ensure a 'click' sound is heard to confirm proper engagement.
  12. Step 12: Insert the remaining slats and secure them.
  13. Step 13: Ensure all connections are tight and the base is stable.
  14. Step 14: Attach the support bar (124138) to the frame.
  15. Step 15: Final check of all connections and slat placement.
