Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attach Side Rails to End Pieces
Take the two side rails (part number 139219). Attach them to the end pieces using the Allen key (100006) and 3x screws (100229) per side. Ensure the slat holders are facing inwards. The diagram shows the correct orientation of the slat holders and the use of screws.
Step 2: Attach Central Support
Attach the central support beam to the end pieces using screws. The diagram illustrates the placement of the central support and the screws used. This step ensures the structural integrity of the bed base.
Step 3: Insert Slats
Carefully insert the flexible wooden slats into the pre-formed holders on the side rails. The diagram shows how to slide the slats into place, ensuring they are correctly seated. Avoid forcing the slats, as this could damage them or the holders.
Step 4: Continue Inserting Slats
Continue inserting the remaining slats into their respective holders along the length of the bed base. Ensure even spacing and proper seating for optimal mattress support.
Step 5: Ensure Slats are Seated
Check that all slats are fully seated in their holders. The diagram shows a close-up of the slats in the holders and indicates correct placement. Proper seating is crucial for the function of the slatted base.
Step 6: Final Slat Placement
Complete the insertion of all slats. The diagram shows the final arrangement of the slats across the bed base, ready for the next step.
Step 7: Mount to Bed Frame
Place the assembled slatted bed base onto the bed frame. Use the provided screws (109049) and washers (100823) to securely attach the slatted base to the bed frame at the designated points. The diagram shows the placement of screws and washers for securing the base. ⓘ
