Control Panel Description
The integrated digital control panel features an ON/OFF button to turn the ventilator on and off. A MODE button is used to access the ventilation time setting. UP/DOWN buttons are used to change humidity or vent time settings.
Ducting the Ventilating Dehumidifier
Attic Installation
This configuration involves a fresh air intake hood with a screen, connected via a fresh air intake duct to the dehumidifier unit. The unit's air discharge is connected to an intake grill, which then connects to a return mixing box that integrates with the furnace or air handler.
Basement Installation
In this setup, air is pulled from outside through a duct and connected to the HVAC/Furnace. A minimum 6-foot duct run is recommended.
