Cycplus M1 Smart GPS Bike Computer Quick Start Guide
Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up your Cycplus M1 Smart GPS Bike Computer:
- Press the [left button] to power on.
- Wait a few minutes for the GPS signal to acquire. A satellite icon will appear when the device is ready.
- Press the [left button] again to start recording. A record icon will appear.
- Press and hold the [middle button] to save the recorded data. The record icon will disappear upon saving.
- Press and hold the [left button] to power off.

Lap: Press the [middle button] to view lap data.
Save Ride: Press and hold the [middle button] to save the ride.
Power On/Off: Press the [left button] to turn the device on or off.
Start/Pause Ride: Press the [left button] to start or pause a ride.
Power Off: Press and hold the [left button] to turn off the device.
Current Data Display
The device displays various data including:
- Time: Current time.
- Speed: Current speed.
- ANT+ Signal: Indicates ANT+ sensor connection status.
- Heart Rate: Current heart rate.
- Cadence: Current cadence.
- Power: Current power output.
- GPS Status: Indicates GPS signal strength.
- Temperature: Current temperature.
- Lap Data: Information about current lap.
- Battery Level: Indicates remaining battery.
- Altitude: Current altitude.
- Gradient: Current road gradient.
- Distance: Total distance covered.
- Ride Time: Duration of the current ride.
Average and Maximum Data
The device can display average (AVG) and maximum (MAX) data for various metrics:
- Speed: Average and maximum speed.
- Heart Rate: Average and maximum heart rate.
- Cadence: Average and maximum cadence.
- Power: Average and maximum power output.
- Gradient: Average and maximum gradient.
Connection to Phone: Indicates connection status with the smartphone.
Temperature Unit: Allows selection between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
Settings
Accessing Settings: Press and hold the [right button] to enter the settings menu.
Navigating Settings: Press the [right button] to cycle through the 8 setting pages.
ANT+ Sensor Connection
Press the [left button] to initiate a search for ANT+ sensors. Data will be displayed when a sensor is connected. An unlinked sensor will have flashing digits.
Wheel Circumference Setting
Press the [left button] to start the setting. Press the [right button] to modify the flashing digit. Press the [middle button] to switch to the next digit. Press the [left button] to finish setting.
Time Zone Setting
Press the [left button] to start the setting. Press the [right button] to adjust the time zone. Press the left button to finish setting. Example: Central Europe (CET) time zone is +1 (01).
Speed Unit Setting
Press the [left button] to start the setting. Press the [right button] to switch between KMH and MPH. Press the [left button] to finish setting.
Temperature Unit Setting
Press the [left button] to start the setting. Press the [right button] to switch between °C and °F. Press the [left button] to finish setting.
Factory Reset
Press the [left button] to start the setting. Press and hold the [middle button] to restore factory settings and turn off the computer.
Odometer Setting
Press the [left button] to start the setting. Press the [right button] to modify the flashing digit. Press the [middle button] to switch to the next digit. Press the [left button] to finish setting.
XOSS App Connection
Scan the QR code or download the XOSS app from Google Play or the App Store. Register with your email and enable your phone's Bluetooth.
M1 Computer Connection
Open the "XOSS" app, select the CYCPLUS M1 option, and tap "Connect". Choose your paired computer from the list of found devices.
Connecting to STRAVA/Training Peaks
Go to your personal files on Strava / Training Peaks and click the "Connect" button. Log in with your Strava/Training Peaks account credentials (Google and Facebook logins are not supported).
Data Synchronization and Analysis
Click the "Sync" button to synchronize your records with the app. If Strava is connected, data will automatically sync to Strava. Select an activity on the workout page to view cycling data.
Notes
- Data Recording: Press and hold the [left button] to power on, and the [left button] to start data recording. Remember to long-press the [middle button] to save the record after riding.
- Memory: Once the memory is full, the computer will overwrite previous records in chronological order.
- Backlight: After setting the time zone, the backlight will automatically turn on every evening from 18:00 to 9:00. The screen will light up upon pressing any button and turn off after 10 seconds.
