Operation Instructions
Power Operations
Power On: Long press the power button ⚙️ for 3 seconds. The motor vibrates for 3 seconds. The red/blue indicator light ? stays on, then the blue light turns off, and the red light flashes slowly, indicating the DVR is recording.
Power Off: Long press the power button ⚙️ for 3 seconds. The motor vibrates 3 times. The red/blue light flashes quickly 3 times, and the DVR turns off.
Photo Capture
Using Power Button: In recording mode, short press the power button ⚙️ once. The motor vibrates once. ?
Using Remote Control: In recording mode, short press the red button on the remote control once. The motor vibrates once. ?
Indicator Status (Red/Blue Light ?)
- Charging: Blue indicator flashes slowly. Fully Charged: Blue indicator stays on.
- Recording: Red indicator flashes slowly.
- Emergency Recording: Red indicator flashes quickly. Triggered by the gravity sensor. Files are named GSR-XXXXXX. Up to 20 emergency videos are saved, with older ones being deleted.
- Stop Recording: Red indicator stays on.
- No Memory Card: If no memory card ? is inserted upon power-on, the DVR shuts down after 1 minute.
Low Battery
When the DVR's battery ? is low, the red/blue light flashes slowly three times, and the DVR turns off.
DVR Charging
- Charging Indicator: Blue light flashes slowly while charging; blue light stays on when fully charged. Use a 5V/2A charger. Fast charging chargers are not recommended.
- Record While Charging: By default, the DVR records while charging from an external power supply. To disable recording during charging, long press the shutdown button ⚙️ to turn off the DVR; it will only charge.
DVR Connected to PC
When connected to a computer via the Type-C interface ?, the red/blue indicator lights stay on. The DVR enters USB disk mode, allowing access to video files on the memory card ?.
Record While Charging Operation
- By default, the DVR does not record while charging from an external power supply. Short press the power button ⚙️ once to start recording.
- Alternatively, connect to WiFi ?, enter the APP settings, and enable "Record while charging" for automatic recording when connected to external power.
WiFi Operations
- WiFi On: By default, WiFi ? is off when not connected to external power. To turn on WiFi, short press the power button ⚙️ twice. The blue indicator light ? flashes slowly. Connect to the "WiFi Camer" app; the blue indicator stays on upon successful connection.
- WiFi Off: Short press the power button ⚙️ twice again. The blue indicator light ? turns off.
- Auto-Off: If WiFi ? is turned on but not connected for 3 minutes, the recorder automatically turns off.
- Remote Control: Double-click the blue button on the remote control ? to toggle WiFi ? on/off.
Reset WiFi Password and Name
Place a TXT file for resetting WiFi password and name in the TF card's ? root directory. Insert the card into the DVR, then press and hold the power button ⚙️ until the DVR turns on. The system will automatically reset the WiFi settings. Contact support for the TXT file.

2.4G Wired Controller
- Red Button: Short press for photo capture ?. Double-click to switch spectral light on/off. Triple-click to turn off the recorder ⚙️.
- Blue Button: Short press to cycle through 6 spectral light modes. Double-click to switch WiFi ? on/off. Triple-click to switch temperature units (Celsius/Fahrenheit).
Battery Replacement (CR2032)
Use a screwdriver to remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the remote control ?. Lift off the protective cover. Push the coin cell battery out using a screwdriver or fingernail. Install the new battery according to polarity. Close the cover and screw it back on.

Mobile APP Installation and Operation
The VSYSTO WiFi APP allows mobile control of the camera via WiFi ? for preview, playback, file management, and settings.
Download and Installation
Scan the QR codes provided or search for "WiFi Camer" on Google Play or the App Store to download and install the app.
Conditions of Use and Product Association
- Requires a smart terminal with Android 5.0+ or Apple iOS.
- Connect the mobile phone's WiFi ? to the camera.
- DVR WiFi Default Name: K5-xxxx
- Default Password: 1234567890
- Keep the app updated for optimal functionality.
Connection Steps
- Turn on the recorder. Turn on WiFi ? by double-clicking the power button ⚙️ or short-pressing the blue button on the remote control ?.
- On your phone, go to WiFi settings, find the DVR's WiFi name (K5-xxxx), and enter the password (1234567890).
- Open the "WiFi Camer" mobile app and connect to the recorder.
File Naming Convention
- REC-XXXX: Normal recorded videos ?
- GSR-XXXX: Emergency recorded videos (triggered by gravity sensor) ?
Synchronize Recorder Time
After connecting to the camera's WiFi ? and opening the app, a "Command succeeded" prompt indicates time synchronization with the phone.
Browse and Manage Camera Files
- Browse Camera Files: In the app's "Online" section, tap to browse video files ? on the memory card ?.
- Playback Camera Files: In the "Online" interface, tap a file to play it ▶️.
- Local Files Management: Tap "Local" to browse, replay, or delete files stored on your mobile phone.
- Download or Delete Files: In the "Online" interface, tap "EDIT", select files, then tap "Save" to download or "Delete" to remove them.
WiFi Connection Solutions
- Android: Turn off mobile data before connecting to DVR's WiFi ?. If prompted "Trust this Network", select "YES" to ensure file transfer speed.
- iOS: Allowing the mobile network to remain active while connected to the DVR's WiFi ? is possible but may affect download speeds.
Important Notes and Troubleshooting
Important Notes
- Initial Use: Back up TF card ? data before first use. The recorder may format the TF card.
- Charging: Use a regular 5V/2A charger ?.
- Heating: It is normal for the DVR to heat up during use.
- Display: For the best viewing experience of 2K resolution videos ?, use a monitor above 2K.
- Storage: The DVR records approximately 175MB per minute. A 64GB card ? can store about 6 hours of video.
Troubleshooting
- Forgot Password: Contact customer service for assistance.
- Blurry Lens/Unclear Video: Check the lens ? exterior for dirt and dust.
- Device Freezes or Doesn't Record: Push the reset button ? with a sharp needle. If the DVR powers on but doesn't record, check the TF card ?'s status, format it on a computer, or format it via the app after connecting to WiFi ?.
