1. Important Warnings

The lightning bolt symbol with an arrow inside a triangle indicates the presence of dangerous, uninsulated voltage within the apparatus that may pose a risk of electric shock.

The exclamation mark symbol within a triangle alerts the user to important operating and maintenance instructions accompanying the product.

Warning (If applicable): Terminals marked with the symbol "⚡" can carry sufficient current to constitute an electric shock hazard. External wiring connected to these terminals must be installed by qualified personnel or use pre-made cables.

Warning: To prevent electric shock or fire hazards, do not expose this equipment to rain or humidity.

9. Do not defeat the purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades, one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a grounding prong. The third prong is for your safety. If the provided cord does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, especially at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Use only attachments specified by the manufacturer.
12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
14. Disconnecting from the mains: turning off the POWER switch stops all functions and indicators, but complete disconnection is achieved by unplugging the power cord from its connector. Therefore, it must always be easily accessible.
15. The equipment is connected to a grounded outlet via the power cord.
16. Product labeling is located on the bottom of the unit.
17. This apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

3. Important Note

Thank you for choosing Ecler Architectural Loudspeakers of the ARQISi series! For maximum operability and performance, it is VERY IMPORTANT to read and carefully consider the information in this manual before connecting the unit.

For optimal performance, we recommend that maintenance be carried out by authorized Technical Services. All ECLER products have a warranty; please consult www.ecler.com or the warranty card included with this unit for validity period and conditions.

4. Introduction

Based on continuous feedback and contact with installers and interior designers, the ARQISi acoustic cabinet line is designed for fixed installation, particularly in environments requiring high-performance, easy and quick installation, with guaranteed reliability and excellent sound quality.

As an evolution of the acclaimed ARQIS series, the ARQISi acoustic cabinets feature fine-tuning that balances sound across the range, improves frequency response, increases power (ARQIS110i, ARQIS112i), and adds a new subwoofer model (ARQISSB12i). The 105, 106, and 108 models include the new VEASY wall mount, compatible with the VESA standard, for easy installation with vertical and horizontal adjustment. The entire range incorporates a rotatable square logo that can be turned 90° without tools.

The ARQISi series is ideal for commercial centers, sports centers, theaters/auditoriums, conference rooms, audiovisual presentations, corporate rooms, perimeter reinforcement in clubs, cafes, restaurants, and theme parks, among other solutions.

6. Connection

The connection cable between the amplifier outputs and the loudspeakers should be of good quality, with sufficient gauge and as short as possible. This is especially important for long distances and low loads (4-8Ω): up to 10m, a gauge of at least 2.5 mm² is recommended, and for longer distances, 4 or 6 mm². A simple way to determine the required gauge, assuming approximately 4% loss, is using the following formula:

Section in mm² = Length in m / Impedance of the speaker in Ω

Always respect polarity. All models include a Euroblock connector, and a second Euroblock or Speakon® connector (depending on the model), facilitating parallel connection of acoustic cabinets.

6.1 ARQISSB6Ti

The ARQISSB6Ti can operate at high or low impedance. It features a 3-position switch on its rear panel to select its operating mode.

The 8Ω/120W position corresponds to low impedance operation at a maximum power of 120 W. The 2 power selector positions for 70/100V lines will allow you to configure the maximum power each unit will work with (60/120W @ 100V | 30/60W @ 70W).

Note: When using the loudspeaker in 70V installations, the power ratings for the 100V position will be reduced by half. When adopting this configuration, consider the amplifier's limitations when connecting multiple speakers to its output, especially if the total impedance drops below 4Ω. It is also important that the connection cable between the amplifier outputs and the speakers is of good quality and as short as possible; this is especially important for long distances and low speaker impedance.

ATTENTION! If the system is accidentally connected with the switch in the 100V/60W position to a low impedance amplifier, it will not damage the speaker, but its performance will be significantly reduced. If the speaker is accidentally connected to a 70/100V line in the 8Ω position, it will be severely damaged.

7. Equalization Settings

Download the Ecler Loudspeakers EQ Settings file for ARQIS105i, ARQIS106i, ARQIS108i, ARQIS110i, ARQIS112i, ARQIS205i, and ARQIS208i, ready for import into EclerNet Manager software.

8. Recommended Amplifier

The following table shows the appropriate amplifier power level for each acoustic system:

9. Placement

General rules to observe:

Place the acoustic cabinets on solid and firm surfaces. Bass reinforcements (sub-bass or "subwoofers") placed directly on the floor in a horizontal orientation will perform better than when hung, elevated, or placed vertically on the floor. There should be no obstacles between the acoustic enclosures and the audience. High frequencies, unlike bass frequencies, are highly directional, and any obstacle will attenuate their response. For large audiences, better sound propagation at a distance will be achieved by elevating the cabinets.

10. Installation

For the ARQISi series, the optimal installation method has been studied for each model. The ARQIS106i, ARQIS108i, ARQIS205i, ARQIS208i, ARQIS110i, and ARQIS112i models can be installed horizontally or vertically thanks to the included accessories and the 1" rotatable compression driver.

Note: The compression driver is installed from the factory with the same orientation as the speaker grille logo (horizontal or vertical).

Each model in the ARQISi range is supplied with the optimal installation system. ARQIS205i / ARQIS208i / ARQIS110i / ARQIS112i / ARQISSB10i / ARQISSB12i / ARQISSB15i also feature integrated nuts that accept standard M8 metric screws for suspended installation using steel cables, or compatible "truss" structures.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Never suspend the equipment using its transport handles (if equipped). Use the appropriate accessories for each task. When using wall or ceiling anchors, it is mandatory to use a redundant fixing system as a safety measure. Use steel cables, slings, or chains of adequate section to prevent the acoustic cabinet from falling if any element of the main hanging system becomes detached.
