Assembling the Stroller

TO ENSURE SAFE OPERATION OF YOUR STROLLER, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

Assembly Steps:

  • Remove stroller from box. The front wheels, rear wheels and parent tray need to be installed prior to use.
  • To attach the front wheels: Unfold stroller. Lean the stroller backwards so that it rests on the handle and rear frame tubes and the front wheel bayonet is pointing upward. Position the front wheel assembly at the front wheel bayonet so that the swivel assembly slides onto the front wheel bayonet. Push each front wheel assembly onto the front wheel bayonet until snapped into place. Pull on the wheel assembly to ensure it is securely attached to the stroller. (See Figure 1 and 2 for visual guidance).
  • To attach the rear wheels: Lean the stroller forward to rest on the front wheels. Position the rear axle and wheel assembly so that the brake levers are facing the rear of the stroller. Press the rear wheel assembly onto the rear frame tubes, being careful that the push buttons on the forward side of each rear tube engage the hole on the forward side of each rear wheel housing. Pull on the rear wheel assembly to ensure it is securely attached to the stroller. (See Figure 3 for visual guidance).

Ensure that the wheels are firmly locked into place. Do Not use the stroller if the wheels are not locked into place; contact customer service immediately at 1-800-328-7363, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM PST, for assistance.

Basket Installation:

The rear basket tube needs to be installed prior to use. Insert the female end of the rear basket tube into the male ends located on the basket frame until it locks into place. (See Figure A for visual guidance).

Parent Tray Installation

To attach the parent tray, position the tray so that the hinges for the storage compartment are facing forward. Attach one end at a time by locating the fitting at the top of the frame and the hole on the side of the parent tray, and snap together. Repeat for the other side. Check that the tray is securely latched in place. (See Figure 4 for visual guidance). To remove the parent tray, reverse the installation steps.

WARNING: Do not place hot liquids in the parent tray. Hot liquids can burn your child. Do not place more than 3 pounds in the tray as it may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the Infant Car Seat harness.

Brakes

WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed so that the stroller will not roll away. Never leave stroller unattended on a hill or incline as the stroller may slide down the hill.

  • To engage brakes: Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever located on each rear wheel. The stroller may require slight forward or rearward movement in order to align the teeth on the brake with the wheel brake cluster. (See Figure 5 for visual guidance). Check that the stroller will not move and that the brakes are properly applied. To release, gently lift up on the brake lever. (See Figure 8 for LOCK/UNLOCK visual guidance).

Folding and Unfolding

To Fold Stroller:

Do Not allow children near stroller while folding.

  • To fold the stroller, slide the red handle in the center of the handle to the left and squeeze while pushing forward on the handle. Once the stroller begins to fold, release the red handle and pull backward on the front frame until the stroller is folded. (See Figure 6 for visual guidance). Secure the stroller in the folded position by latching the fold latch, located on the right side of the stroller at the intersection of the handle and the rear tube, over the extended rivet on the lower frame tube. (See Figure 7 for visual guidance).

To Unfold Stroller:

Do Not allow children near stroller while unfolding.

  • Release the folding latch, which is located on the right side. (See Figure 8 for visual guidance).
  • Lift up on the stroller handle with both hands until the stroller frame is erect and locked in the open position. (See Figure 9 for visual guidance). The stroller has spring-loaded latches on both sides of the frame. Test that both latches are fully engaged prior to placing your child in the stroller.

Attaching an Infant Car Seat

  • Place car seat onto front bar. (See Figure 10 for visual guidance). NOTE: Some brands of infant car seats will lock onto the front bar, and some brands may simply rest on the front bar. You must ALWAYS use the safety belt to secure every car seat that is placed on the SNAP N GO.
  • Make sure the front of the car seat rests on the red support tabs located on the frame. (See Figure 11 for visual guidance). NOTE: For wider car seats, there is a higher support tab located above the main red support tabs. (See Figure 11 for visual guidance).
  • Strap the safety belt over the car seat and connect the buckles together. Tighten the strap so the car seat fits snug and can't move. (See Figure 12 for visual guidance). NOTE: Some car seats have slots for the safety belt to slide through; if you have a car seat with these slots, please feed the safety belt through each slot and secure. (See Figure 13 for visual guidance). The stroller also features a convenient carry handle. (See Figure 14 for visual guidance).

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling. ALWAYS use the safety belt to secure car seat to stroller.
