Before You Start
If your internet connection is through an Ethernet cable directly from the wall (instead of a DSL/Cable/Satellite modem), connect the Ethernet cable to the router's WAN port and skip steps 1, 2, and 3.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare the Modem
Turn off your modem. If it has a battery, remove it.
Step 2: Connect Router to Modem
Connect the router's WAN port to your modem's Ethernet port or directly to the internet source using an Ethernet cable.

Step 3: Power on Modem
Turn on your modem and wait approximately 2 minutes for it to restart.
Step 4: Connect Router Power
Connect the power adapter to the router and plug it into a power socket. ?
Step 5: Verify LEDs
Check the LEDs on the router to confirm the hardware is connected correctly. The LEDs typically indicate Power, WiFi, Internet, WAN, and LAN status.

Step 6: Connect Your Computer
Connect your computer to the router either wired or wirelessly.
Wired Connection:
Turn off Wi-Fi on your computer. Connect your computer to one of the router's LAN ports using an Ethernet cable.
Wireless Connection:
Connect your device to the router's Wi-Fi network. The default network name (SSID) and password are printed on the bottom of the router. Example: SSID: Cudy-xxxx, Password: xxxxxxxx.
Step 7: Access Setup Page
Launch a web browser on your connected computer or device. Enter http://cudy.net/ or http://192.168.10.1/ in the address bar. Use "admin" as the password to log in.
Note: If the login window does not appear, please refer to the FAQ section (Q1).

Step 8: Complete Quick Setup
The Quick Setup window will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your internet connection, timezone, and wireless settings.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What can I do if the login window does not appear?
A1: If the computer is set to a static IP address, change its settings to obtain an IP address and DNS server address automatically.
A2: Verify that http://cudy.net/ or 192.168.10.1 is correctly entered in the web browser.
A3: Use another web browser and try again.
A4: Reboot your router and try again.
A5: Disable and then enable the network adapter being used.
Q2: What should I do if I cannot find a Wi-Fi signal?
A: Please make sure the router is connected, and the power and broadband interfaces are not loose. If everything is normal but still no signal, try using a computer to set it up or restore the router to factory settings. If after restoring factory settings there is still no signal, you can restart the router. If it still doesn't work, the router might have a fault.
Q3: How to Reset to factory defaults?
A: While the power is still on, keep pressing the RST/WPS button for 6 seconds, and wait for 1-2 minutes. The router will restore to factory settings.
Q4: Why can't my phone enter the Setting Page of Router?
A: Please make sure your phone is connected to the Cudy Router Wi-Fi (the default name is printed on the bottom of the router), and ensure you enter the correct website in the browser. (Please follow instructions FAQ -> Q1).
Q5: Why can't I enter the Setting Page after restarting the Router?
A: After restarting the router, your phone might automatically connect to another Wi-Fi. Please ensure your phone is connected to the Cudy Router Wi-Fi (the default name is printed on the bottom of the router).
