Getting Started: Setting Up Your Cudy Router
Step 1: Install Antennas
If your router has detachable antennas, install them now.

Step 2: Insert SIM Card
With the gold contacts facing down, insert your SIM card into the SIM slot until you hear a clicking sound. Note: Do not hot-swap the SIM card; insert or remove it only while the system is powered off.

Step 3: Connect Power
Connect the power adapter to the router and press the power button. Wait for the system LED to turn solid on. This may take 2-5 minutes.

Step 4: Check the LED
When the LED is solid on, the router is connected to the cellular network. If the LED is off, please continue to configure the router.

Note: If the signal is still too weak indoors, consider installing extension antennas (not included) to the SMA connector and placing them outdoors.
Step 5: Connect to the Router
You can connect to the router using either Wi-Fi or a wired Ethernet connection.
A. Wi-Fi Connection ?
Connect your device to the router's Wi-Fi using the SSID (network name) and Password printed on the bottom of the router. Look for a Wi-Fi network named like "Cudy-XXXX-5G".

B. Wired Connection ?
Turn off the Wi-Fi on your computer and connect it to the router's LAN port using an Ethernet cable.

Step 6: Open Browser for Setup
Open a web browser on your connected device and navigate to http://cudy.net/. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.

Router Configuration
Step 7: Input SIM PIN (if required)
If your SIM card is locked, a window will appear prompting you to enter the PIN code. You have a limited number of attempts to enter the correct PIN. Contact your carrier if you need assistance.

Step 8: Follow Quick Setup Wizard
The router will guide you through the configuration process. Follow the on-screen instructions for the Quick Setup wizard.

Key configuration items include setting the Internet connection, Work Mode, Timezone, Cellular settings, and Wireless (Wi-Fi) network names (SSID) and passwords for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. You can navigate using "[Back]" and "[Next]" buttons.
