Cudy WR1200 Quick Installation Guide

Initial Setup

Follow these steps to connect your router:

1. Connect the power adapter to the router and wait for the Power system indicator light to turn solid.
2. Connect the router's WAN port to your DSL/Cable Modem or the Ethernet wall outlet.
3. Connect your device to the router using one of the following methods:

Method A: Wi-Fi Connection

• Connect your device to the router’s Wi-Fi network. The default network name (SSID) and password are printed on the bottom of the router.

Method B: Wired Connection

• Turn off the Wi-Fi on your device.
• Connect your device to one of the router's LAN ports using an Ethernet cable.

Router Configuration

1. Open a web browser (e.g., Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) on your connected device.
2. Enter the router's configuration address in the browser's address bar: http://cudy.net/
3. Follow the on-screen instructions and images to complete the router configuration.

Enjoy the Internet

Once configured, you can enjoy internet access on your devices.

LED Indicators

Understanding the LED indicators on your router:

• Power: Indicates the router's power status.
• WiFi: Indicates the status of the Wi-Fi network.
• LAN: Indicates the status of the wired Ethernet connection.
