Step 1: Locate Smart / Learn Button

Locate the Smart / Learn button on your garage door opener. Use
a ladder if needed.

Step 2: Check Working Mode on Remote

The remote has two working modes. To check the working mode,
press and hold the button. Observe LED status:

   back of the remote for 3 seconds until the LED flashes, then

   to either SOLID (Mode 1) or FLASHING (Mode 2). Try programming it
   again with the opener (Step 3).
