Programming Instructions for Garage Door Opener

Step 1: Locate the Smart / Learn Button

Locate the Smart / Learn button on your garage door opener. You will need a ladder to access it.

Step 2: Check the Working Mode on Remote

The remote has two working modes for different garage door opener types.

To check the working mode: Just press and hold the button. Then observe LED status.

Step 3: Garage Door Opener Learning

Press the learn button on the back of the opener. After the learn LED glows steadily, press and hold the button on the remote until the opener lights flash or you hear two clicks. At that point, the remote is successfully programmed.

Step 4: Change the Working Mode on Remote

1. Using the Visor Clip to press and hold the "PROG" button on the back of the remote for 3 seconds until the LED flashes, then release.

2. Press and release the button of the remote; the LED will change to either SOLID (Mode 1) or FLASHING (Mode 2). Then try programming it again with the opener (step 3).

Troubleshooting

?️ Automatically deactivated old remote? If your opener's memory is full, try erasing the garage opener's memory according to the motor unit owner's manual, and then reprogram.

? It stopped working after a few weeks: Replace the CR2032 Battery when the remote stops working after a few weeks.

? Have garage door closed first: Sometimes, the door must be closed before programming.

? The Learn LED glow steadily: Ensure that the Learn LED glows steadily when performing Step 3.
