Aqua Optima support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How often should I change my Aqua Optima filter?
For best performance, the Evolve+ filter cartridge should be replaced after 100 liters of use or approximately every 30 days.
-
How do I prepare a new filter cartridge?
Soak the cartridge in a bowl of water for 5–10 minutes to remove air bubbles, then rinse it under a running tap for 1 minute before fitting it into the vessel.
-
Why are there black particles in my new filter?
You may see small black carbon particles; this is normal and harmless. They are residue from the activated carbon and will wash away during the initial preparation process.
-
What do the lights on the Aurora dispenser mean?
An orange filter icon indicates the filter needs changing. A solid orange 'Rinse/Descale' light means a rinse is needed, while flashing orange indicates descaling is required.
-
Can I filter hot water with Aqua Optima products?
No, you should only filter cold or room temperature tap water (up to 30°C). Filtering hot water can damage the appliance and void the warranty.
