1. Setup

2. Unwrap the Universal filter cartridge from its protective packaging.
3. Submerge the filter completely in a bowl of clean water for 10 minutes. This helps to remove any air bubbles and prime the filter for use.

1. Ensure the silicone ring on the filter is properly positioned in the rim of the filter.
2. Carefully place the prepared filter into the recess in the middle of the jug's internal reservoir. Press down gently to ensure a secure fit.

1.4 Initial Water Fill and Discard

1. Fill the jug with tap water through the pour-through lid. Allow the water to filter through completely.
