About DELSEY manuals on Manuals.plus

DELSEY (also known as DELSEY PARIS) is a prominent French company specializing in the design and manufacture of luggage and travel accessories. Established in 1946, the brand has built a reputation for combining distinct French design with practical innovation. DELSEY is credited with numerous inventions in the travel industry, including early adoption of the rolling luggage system. The company produces a wide array of products ranging from hardside and softside suitcases to business backpacks and garment bags.

A key focus for DELSEY is security and durability. Many of its products feature the patented ZIP SECURITECH®, a double-zipped closing system designed to be significantly more resistant to intrusion than standard zippers. Additionally, most DELSEY suitcases are equipped with TSA-accepted locks, allowing security authorities to inspect luggage without damaging it. With a global presence, DELSEY supports travelers in over 110 countries, offering warranties that reflect the durability of their goods.

DELSEY support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • How do I reset the combination on my DELSEY TSA lock?

Most DELSEY TSA locks are preset to 0-0-0. To reset: 1. Ensure the lock is open at the current code (0-0-0). 2. Press the reset button (often labeled 'A' or a small hole requiring a pen) until it clicks. 3. Dial your new secret combination. 4. Push the opening slider/button to confirm; the reset button should pop back out.

  • What should I do if I forgot my lock combination?

If you forget your combination, the lock cannot be reset without the current code. DELSEY recommends visiting an authorized repair center to have the lock opened. For security reasons, there is no master key available to the public.

  • How do I register my DELSEY product for warranty?

You can register your product online at warranty.delsey.com. While registration is essentially for your records and faster service, you should always retain your original proof of purchase (receipt), as it is required to make a warranty claim.

  • What does the red diamond logo on my lock mean?

The red diamond indicates that the lock is TSA-certified. This allows Transport Security Administration (TSA) agents to open and inspect your bag using a secured master key without damaging your lock or luggage.
