Operating Instructions
1. Packing the Luggage
The interior of your Rempart luggage is designed for efficient packing:
- Main Compartments: Utilize the two full packing compartments. Secure items with the webbing straps to prevent shifting during transit.
- Zipped Pockets: Use the zipped pocket and two mesh pockets on the lined divider for smaller items, toiletries, or documents.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Exterior
The polycarbonate shell can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish. Wipe dry immediately after cleaning.
2. Washing the Interior Lining
The interior lining is removable and washable. To clean:
- Unzip the lining from the interior of the luggage.
- Wash the lining on a delicate cycle with cold water and mild detergent.
- Air dry the lining completely before reattaching it to the luggage. Do not tumble dry.
3. Wheel and Zipper Care
Periodically check the spinner wheels for any debris or hair that may impede their movement. Clean as necessary. The SECURITECH® Zip is designed for durability; however, ensure it is not forced when closing, especially when the luggage is overpacked.
Troubleshooting
- Lock Not Opening: Ensure you are using the correct 3-digit combination. If you have forgotten your combination, you may need to contact DELSEY PARIS customer support for assistance. Do not attempt to force the lock.
- Zipper Sticking: If the zipper is difficult to move, check for any fabric or foreign objects caught in the teeth. Apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or wax if needed. Avoid overpacking the luggage, which can strain the zipper.
- Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly: Inspect the wheels for accumulated dirt, hair, or debris. Clean the wheel axles and ensure they are free to rotate. If a wheel is damaged, contact customer support.
- Retractable Handle Sticking: Ensure no items inside the luggage are obstructing the handle mechanism. Extend and retract the handle several times to dislodge any minor obstructions.
