2. Initial Setup

Setting Your TSA Combination Lock:

Your luggage is equipped with a TSA-accepted 3-dial combination lock. The initial combination is set to 0-0-0. To set your personal combination:

1. Ensure the lock is set to the factory default 0-0-0.
2. Locate the small reset button (often a small hole) next to the dials. Use a pen or a pointed object to press and hold this button until you hear a click.
3. While holding the reset button, set your desired 3-digit combination by turning the dials.
4. Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set.
5. Test your new combination by scrambling the dials and then entering your set code to open the lock.

Important: Remember your combination. DELSEY PARIS cannot open your lock if you forget the code.

3. Operating Your Luggage

Using the Spinner Wheels:

Your luggage is equipped with eight double spinner wheels, allowing for effortless 360-degree rotation. This design provides smooth maneuverability in any direction, reducing strain on your arm and shoulder. Simply push or pull the luggage alongside you or in front of you.

Telescopic Handle:

The multi-stage telescopic handle can be adjusted to various heights for comfortable pulling. Press the button on the handle grip to extend or retract it. Ensure the handle is fully extended or retracted before moving the luggage.

Carrying Handles:

For lifting your luggage, use the soft-touch top and side carrying handles. These handles are designed for comfort and durability.

Expandable Feature:

To increase your packing capacity, locate the expansion zipper running along the perimeter of the luggage. Unzip this zipper to expand the main compartment by approximately 2 inches. Zip it back up to return to the original size.

Packing Compartments:

The luggage features two main packing compartments. One side includes adjustable tie-down straps to secure your belongings and prevent shifting during transit. • Wheels: Periodically clean the wheels to remove any accumulated dirt or hair that might hinder smooth rolling.

Storage:

Store your luggage in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve its material integrity.

Common Issues and Solutions:

• Sticking Wheels: If wheels are not rolling smoothly, check for debris (hair, lint) caught in the wheel mechanism. Clean thoroughly. If the issue persists, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the axle.
• Sticking Zippers: If a zipper is difficult to move, apply a small amount of zipper lubricant, wax, or even a pencil lead along the teeth. Gently work the zipper back and forth. Avoid forcing it.
• Combination Lock Issues: If you forget your combination, DELSEY PARIS cannot provide it. If the lock mechanism feels stiff, ensure the dials are aligned correctly. If the lock is damaged, contact customer support for repair options.
