It includes a temperature display, remote control, and WiFi connectivity for easy operation and data management. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your device.

2. Safety Information

  • Ensure all components are securely installed before riding. Loose parts can cause accidents.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device, as this may void the warranty and cause damage.
  • Keep the device away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

5. Setup & Installation

5.1 Unboxing and Components

Before installation, familiarize yourself with the components and their functions.

5.2 Host Bracket Installation

The camera unit (host) can be installed using two methods:

  1. Method 1 (Adhesive Tape): Open the bracket, insert the host, tighten with a screw, and then install with adhesive tape.
  2. Method 2 (Circular Bracket): Place the host into the circular bracket. Tighten and secure these two brackets, then connect them to the circular bracket with screws.

Ensure the top of the bracket aligns with the smooth surface of the host to prevent the image from being upside down. When tightening screws, ensure they are aligned and balanced.

5.3 Remote Control Bracket Installation

Thread the fixing strap through both sides of the remote control to secure it. Then attach it to the handlebar and tie it tightly for fixation.

5.4 Waterproof Cover Installation

After connecting the tail light, ensure the waterproof cover is properly installed to protect the ports.

5.5 Memory Card Installation

Please install a memory card (not included) in the designated slot on the camera unit. Ensure it is inserted correctly before closing the waterproof cover.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Recording

  • Power On: Long press the power button for three seconds. The camera will vibrate, indicating it is powered on and recording.
  • Power Off: Long press the power button again to power off.
  • Loop Recording: Recording automatically starts when powered on. When the memory card is full, it will overwrite the oldest file.
  • Emergency Recording (G-Sensor): The built-in G-sensor will trigger emergency recording upon impact. Locked files will not be overwritten unless there are more than 20 emergency videos, in which case the oldest will be deleted.

6.2 Remote Control Functions

  • Red Button:
    • Short press once: Take a picture (snapshot).
    • Double click: Switch spectral light on/off.
    • Press three times continuously: Turn off the recorder.
  • Blue Button:
    • Short press three times in a row: Switch temperature units (°C/°F).
    • Double click: Switch WiFi on/off.
    • Short press: Switch spectral light modes (6 modes available).

6.3 WiFi Connectivity and App Usage

  1. Double-click the blue button on the remote control to switch WiFi on.
  2. Search for "WiFi Camera" on Google Play or APP Store, then download and install it on your mobile phone.
  3. Enter the WiFi settings interface of your phone. Find the corresponding WiFi network name starting with "MOTODV" or "VSYSTO" and connect. (Note: WiFi is an internal network; your phone may show no network connection, which is normal. Some phones require mobile data to be turned off before connecting to the camera's WiFi.)
  4. Open the "WiFi Camera" app and click "Enter recorder". You can now see the real-time image.
  5. In the app, you can click "Online" to view files in the memory card. Use the "Edit" button to delete or download video files.
  6. After downloading, videos can be played from the "Local" page. You can also edit videos within 30 seconds to share.
  7. The settings page in the app allows you to adjust video resolution, loop video time, G-sensor sensitivity (GST), sound recording, and other functions. (It is recommended to set GST to Level 0 or Level 1. Do not set it too high.)

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the camera body. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution.
  • Waterproof Seals: Periodically inspect the waterproof covers and plugs for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure they are clean and properly seated to maintain water resistance.
  • Battery Care: Charge the device regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the VSYSTO official website or app for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and new features.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to the power cable and try again.
  • Recording issues: Check if a memory card is inserted and formatted correctly. Ensure the card is not full.
  • WiFi connection problems: Make sure WiFi is enabled on the camera (double-click blue button). Ensure your phone's mobile data is off before connecting to the camera's WiFi.
  • Image upside down: Re-align the camera in its bracket, ensuring the smooth surface of the host is correctly oriented with the bracket's top.
  • Remote control not responding: Check battery in remote control. Ensure it is within operating range.
  • Device heating up: It is normal for the product to generate some heat during operation, especially when charging or during prolonged recording. If it becomes excessively hot, discontinue use and contact support.
