  3. Place the chest strap around your chest, just below your pectoral muscles. The sensor should be centered on your chest.
  4. Adjust the strap to a comfortable but snug fit. It should not be too tight to restrict breathing, nor too loose to slip during activity.

4.3 Pairing with Devices

The X2 Pro supports both Bluetooth and ANT+ protocols, allowing compatibility with a wide range of sports equipment and applications.

    1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone, cycling computer, or other compatible device.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Heart Rate Monitoring

Once paired and worn correctly, the X2 Pro will automatically begin transmitting your heart rate data. The sensor uses the micro-voltage signals generated by your heartbeat to provide accurate heart rate values to your connected device or app.

5.2 Independent Data Storage

The X2 Pro features an independent memory storage function, allowing it to record approximately 48 hours of exercise data even without being connected to an external device. This is ideal for activities where carrying a phone or bike computer is inconvenient. If the storage capacity is exceeded, new data will automatically overwrite the oldest data. The recording duration may be affected by temperature and environmental conditions.

5.3 Speed/Distance Estimation

By activating the pedometer switch, the X2 Pro can record your step frequency. It then estimates your distance and speed based on this step frequency, along with your pre-set height and gender information in the connected app.

5.4 Calorie Estimation

The X2 Pro provides a calorie estimation function, allowing you to see your exercise consumption at a glance. This feature helps you track your energy expenditure during workouts.

5.5 Heart Rate Warning Alert

For safe exercise, the heart rate monitor can issue a warning tone if your heart rate reaches a pre-set warning value. This feature can be manually turned on or off via the connected application.

6. Maintenance

  • After each use, rinse the chest strap with clean water and hang it to dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • Clean the sensor unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents.
  • Store the device in a dry and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and corrosive gases.
  • Regularly check the chest strap for signs of wear and tear. Replace if damaged to ensure accurate readings.
  • Ensure the charging port is clean and dry before charging.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Heart Rate Reading

  • Ensure the electrode areas on the chest strap are sufficiently moistened.
  • Check that the sensor is correctly attached to the strap and positioned on your chest.
  • Verify that the sensor's battery is charged.
  • Confirm that the sensor is properly paired with your receiving device (Bluetooth or ANT+).
  • Try re-pairing the sensor with your device.

7.2 Inconsistent or Erratic Readings

  • Ensure the chest strap is snug but comfortable, preventing movement during activity.
  • Re-moisten the electrodes.
  • Avoid strong electromagnetic interference sources.
  • Check for any damage to the chest strap or sensor unit.

7.3 Connectivity Issues

  • Ensure your receiving device is within range of the sensor.
  • Turn off and on Bluetooth/ANT+ on your receiving device.
  • Restart both the sensor (if applicable, by removing and reattaching to the strap) and your receiving device.

  • Moisten Electrodes: Always moisten the electrode areas on the chest strap before wearing it to ensure optimal signal transmission and accurate heart rate readings.
  • Snug Fit: A snug fit is crucial for accuracy. The strap should be tight enough not to slip during exercise but not so tight as to cause discomfort or restrict breathing.
  • Post-Workout Care: Rinse the strap after each use to remove sweat and salt, which can degrade the material and affect conductivity over time.
  • App Integration: Utilize the dedicated XOSS app or other compatible fitness apps to get the most out of features like heart rate zone training, data analysis, and warning alerts.
  • Battery Conservation: If not using the independent storage, ensure the sensor is disconnected from the strap when not in use to conserve battery.
