Product Overview

The XOSS G+ is a smart GPS cycling computer designed for outdoor sports science, providing essential data for cyclists. It features GPS positioning, ANT+ sensor connectivity, and integration with the XOSS mobile application.

Key Features:

Device Display Description: The device screen displays real-time data including Speed (SPD), Gradient (GRAD%), Heart Rate (HR), Cadence (CAD), Time, Distance (DIST), Elevation (ELE), and Calories (CAL). It also shows lap count and battery status.

GPS Positioning

To acquire a GPS signal:

  1. Long press the right button to turn the device on.
  2. Short press the left button to start searching for GPS. The GPS icon will appear and flash.
  3. Remain still in an open, barrier-free area for a few minutes to acquire the signal. The device is ready when the GPS icon stops flashing and provides a BEEP prompt.
  4. Long press the left button to save the workout after ending a ride.

Note: The device supports outdoor recording only and requires a clear view of the sky.

Connecting with XOSS APP

Enhance your cycling experience by connecting the XOSS G+ to the XOSS mobile application:

  1. Download the XOSS app from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Turn on your XOSS G+ and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
  3. Open the XOSS app, navigate to 'Devices' > 'Bike Computers' > 'G/G+'.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your device.

Once connected, you can customize settings such as Backlight, Key Tone, Auto Pause, Speed Alert, Tire Circumference, Units, and Time Zone. Workout data will automatically sync to the XOSS app.

Note: The XOSS app is designed for Bluetooth 4.0 or later versions. Long press the left button to end recording before connecting to the app.

Workout Management & Data Customization

Managing Workouts:

  1. Connect your XOSS G+ to the XOSS app.
  2. Navigate to 'Storage' > 'Workout'.
  3. Tap 'Edit' to select and delete or resync multiple workouts.

Custom Data Layout:

Requirements: Firmware version 1.09 or later; XOSS app version Android 3.10.2+ or iOS 3.11.0+.

Time Zone Setting:

  1. Connect your XOSS G+ to the XOSS app.
  2. Go to 'Settings' > 'User Profile' > 'Time Zone'. The device will sync with your phone's time zone.

Recordable Data Types: The device can record up to 50 types of data, including:

ANT+ Sensor Connection

Pairing ANT+ sensors (e.g., Speed, Heart Rate, Cadence, Power meters) with your XOSS G+:

  1. Ensure the device is within 3 meters of the sensor and at least 10 meters away from other riders' sensors.
  2. Press both buttons simultaneously on the XOSS G+ until the ANT+ icon flashes, indicating it is searching for nearby sensors.
  3. Once a sensor is successfully paired, the icon will remain static.

You can configure various settings directly on the device:

Customizable Function Button & Laps

Customizable Function Button: The middle button on the XOSS G+ is customizable. It can be used to start lap counting, control headlight and taillight switches, and toggle light modes. Further customization is available via the XOSS app.

Lap Counting Modes: The XOSS G+ supports four types of lap counting:

Note: All lap counting modes require successful GPS positioning to start. Long press the left button to end laps.

Firmware Upgrade

When new firmware is available, the XOSS app will notify you. It is recommended to keep the firmware updated for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting: If you encounter issues during a firmware upgrade (e.g., stuck in dFu mode), try toggling your phone's Bluetooth off and on again, then reconnect the XOSS app to resume the upgrade.

Installation

Mounting the XOSS G+ cycling computer:

  1. Place the rubber pad on the back of the bike mount.
  2. Use a rubber band to secure the bracket to your handlebar or stem.
  3. Align the tabs on the back of the device with the grooves on the bike mount. Press down gently and rotate the device 90 degrees until it locks securely into place.

XOSS provides a one-year free warranty from the date of purchase. For warranty service, please contact your original dealer.

Conditions Not Covered by Warranty:

  1. Normal aging and degradation of the battery.
  2. Damage or loss resulting from improper installation.
  3. Damage caused by abnormal use, including exposure to high temperatures or water damage beyond the IP67 rating.
  4. Damage resulting from self-dismantling or unauthorized maintenance personnel.
