- From the vKVM console, select Virtual Media to check for existing mappings. If any mappings exist (either vKVM-Mapped or CIMC-Mapped), eject them.

- When the Please select boot device: dialog box appears, select Cisco vKVM-Mapped vDVD2.00.

- In the Name field, enter a descriptive name (for example, Firmware_ 2025).

The firmware update initiates. The CIMC may reboot during the update process, after which the firmware update will continue. A CIMC reboot will cause a temporary loss of connection. Log in to the CIMC again and re-launch the vKVM Console to monitor the update progress.
After the firmware update is complete, the ISO will not be automatically unmapped. Be sure to manually unmap the ISO before performing another reboot. - In the vKVM console, after you see the message All files kopitsoe le ho netefatsoa, ISO e kentsoe 'me ntlafatso ea firmware ea qala. - From the vKVM console, select Virtual Media and click the name of the previously configured mapping to eject or unmap it.
