- Select Macros > Static Macros > CTRL-ALT-DEL to initiate the reboot process.

- Press the F6 key on your keyboard when the Cisco logo and boot messages appear in the vKVM console.

- When the Please select boot device: dialog box appears, select Cisco vKVM-Mapped vDVD2.00.

The firmware update initiates. The CIMC may reboot during the update process, after which the firmware update will continue. A CIMC reboot will cause a temporary loss of connection. Log in to the CIMC again and re-launch the vKVM Console to monitor the update progress.
After the firmware update is complete, the ISO will not be automatically unmapped. Be sure to manually unmap the ISO before performing another reboot. - In the vKVM console, after you see the message All files copied and verified, the ISO has been loaded and the firmware update begins. At this point, it is safe to eject or unmap the previously mapped firmware ISO.

- From the vKVM console, select Virtual Media and click the name of the previously configured mapping to eject or unmap it.

- Click Confirm to unmap the ISO file.
