Installation Steps
Step 1: Base Placement
Place the bathtub on a prepared, stable, and level base. Ensure the foundation can support the weight of the bathtub and water.
Step 2: Attach Supports
Attach the adjustable feet or support brackets to the underside of the bathtub. These components are crucial for leveling the unit.
Step 3: Position Bathtub
Carefully position the bathtub onto the installed supports. Align it approximately with the final desired location in the bathroom.
Step 4: Secure Supports
Secure the bathtub to the supports using the provided brackets and screws. Adjust the feet to achieve the correct height and initial leveling.
Step 5: Leveling and Adjustment
Fine-tune the height and level of the bathtub using the adjustable feet. Use a spirit level to ensure the bathtub is perfectly horizontal and stable in all directions.
Step 6: Wall Mounting
Fix the bathtub securely to the wall using appropriate mounting hardware. This step adds essential stability and prevents movement.
Step 7: Tiling and Sealing Preparation
The diagram illustrates tiling around the bathtub. It is critical to ensure a proper seal between the bathtub edges and the wall or tiles. A warning symbol [Incorrect sealing/tiling] is shown, indicating the importance of correct application.
Step 8: Water Test
Fill the bathtub with water. Leave the water in the tub for a minimum of 24 hours. This allows for final stability checks and verifies the integrity of the seals and connections. [Fill with water and wait 24 hours] is indicated by a water tap symbol and timer.
Step 9: Final Sealing
Apply sanitary silicone sealant around all edges where the bathtub meets the wall or tiles. This creates a watertight barrier, preventing water damage.
