ASSEMBLING & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The drawing shown may not exactly match the product enclosed. However, the installation instructions do apply to this product.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)

1. Shut off the power at the circuit breaker box. Remove old fixture and all hardware from Junction Box. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
2. Install the light bulbs (Not included) in accordance with the fixture's specifications. NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE!
3. Attach the pipe thread (N) into the bottom screw hole of the lamp body (M) and tighten it until snug.
4. Attach the shim (Q) and acrylic (P) plate onto the end of pipe thread, lock it securely with the round nuts (R).
5. Slide the electrical wires through the pipe (L)/(K)/(J)/coupling (H). Raise the pipe (L) to the top pipe thread of lamp body (O), by turning it clockwise until tight. Raise the pipe (K)/(J)/coupling (H) onto the end of pipe thread, by turning it clockwise until tight. Raise the canopy (G) to the end of coupling, lock it securely with the lock washer and hex nut (F).
6. End of pipe thread screw (C) into single bar (D), place lock washer (B) over the end of thread protruding through single bar and lock it securely with the hex nut (A). Take this single bar assembly to junction box with junction box screws (E), tighten screws securely with screwdriver. The side of the single bar marked "GND" must face outwards. The junction box is not included.
7. While holding the fixture body towards the ceiling, connect the electrical wires as Shown in Fig.2, making sure that all wire nuts are secured. You may have to wrap the connections with electrical tape. If your outlet has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture's ground wire directly to the single bar with the green screw provided. After wires are connected, tuck them carefully inside the Junction Box.
8. Raise the fixture body onto the Junction box, aligning screw on single bar with mounting hole in canopy and lock it securely with the finial (I).

This diagram shows how to connect the fixture wires to the house wires:

• Fixture Wires: Black or Smooth, White or Ribbed, Bare Copper (Ground)
• House Wires: Black (Hot), White (Neutral), Green or Bare Copper (Ground)
• Connect the fixture's Black or Smooth wire to the house's Black (Hot) wire.
• Connect the fixture's White or Ribbed wire to the house's White (Neutral) wire.
• Connect the fixture's Bare Copper (Ground) wire to the house's Green or Bare Copper (Ground) wire.
• Ensure all wire nut connections are secure. If a ground wire is not present in the outlet, connect the fixture's ground wire directly to the mounting bar's ground screw.

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
