7.1 Preparations for Connection
- Insert Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro-SD card into the camera to store video clips, or activate the free 7-day Cloud Service. Videos will not be saved without a Micro-SD card or cloud service.
- Check Wi-Fi Compatibility: The camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and does not support 5GHz. If your router is dual-band, ensure it is set to 2.4GHz mode for the camera to function.
- Ensure Same Network Connection: For successful pairing, ensure both your phone and the camera are connected to the same network.
- Proximity to Router: When establishing a connection, place the camera near the router (recommended distance: 10-15 feet).
Note: Connect the camera near the router before installation to ensure a stable signal. Then, check the network at the installation site to avoid connection problems.

7.2 Adding Methods
Method 1: Bluetooth Setup (Recommended)
- Tap "Add" or the "+" symbol in the upper right corner on the homepage, then tap "Add Device".
- If Bluetooth is not enabled on your phone, a pop-up will appear. Please allow it to turn on Bluetooth.
- Once Bluetooth is turned on, the app will automatically search for available devices. Select the device you wish to connect to from the search list.
- Select the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network the camera should connect to and enter the password. If Bluetooth is enabled, the app will automatically display available 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. Note that 5GHz Wi-Fi networks will not be displayed. If you cannot find your Wi-Fi network, please contact your router provider to check the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi settings.

9. Camera Installation
9.1 Preparation of Installation
- Surface Selection: Choose a clean, smooth, and dry surface for mounting the bracket. Avoid uneven surfaces such as wood veneers or drywall.
- Remove Bracket: The camera comes with a bracket and a screw set. Remove the bracket from the doorbell before installation.
-
Mounting the Bracket:
- Using Screws: Position the bracket at the desired location on the wall and mark the screw holes. If mounting on drywall, use the included anchors to secure the bracket. Fasten the bracket with the included screws.
- Using Adhesive Stickers: Apply the included adhesive stickers to the back of the bracket. Note that the stickers take approximately 1 hour to reach 50% adhesion and 72 hours for full adhesion.
- Mounting the Doorbell: Attach the doorbell to the bracket, ensuring it is correctly aligned. Press until you hear a click, indicating the doorbell is securely fastened. All set! Press the doorbell button to perform a test.
Notes:
- Avoid Strong Light Sources: Do not position the camera facing strong light sources, mirrors, windows, or swimming pools.
- Minimize Interference: Keep the camera away from power outlets, air conditioning vents, humidifiers, and heating vents.
- Maintain Distance: Ensure the camera is at least 1 meter away from other wireless devices (e.g., microwaves, Wi-Fi routers) to avoid interference.
(Diagrams show bracket mounting with screws and adhesive, and attaching the doorbell.)
9.2 Installation Position and Angle
-
Positioning for Motion Detection:
- Your doorbell has a 120° field of view and a 100° detection range.
- For the best viewing angle and optimal motion detection, it is recommended to mount the doorbell at least 160 cm (5 feet) above the ground.
- Optimal Placement: Position the doorbell so that movement crosses the camera's field of view from the side, rather than directly approaching or moving away from the doorbell.
(Diagrams illustrate the recommended mounting height and side-vs-frontal placement for motion detection.)
11. PIR Motion Detection
11.1 Setting the Motion Detection Alarm
Sensitivity Setting: Adjust the motion detection sensitivity from 1 to 5. The settings are illustrated below.
Sensitivity | Detection Range |
---|---|
1-3 | 3.3-10ft (1-3m) |
3-5 | 10-16.4ft (3-5m) |
Notes:
- Higher sensitivity increases the PIR detection range but may lead to faster battery drain.
- "Humanoid Detection Accuracy" differs from "Detection Sensitivity". Lower humanoid detection accuracy may increase false alarms, while higher settings require a more complete human form for triggering, which may occasionally lead to missed detections.
(Screenshots show app interface for motion detection settings.)
11.2 Alarm Notification
- Recording Type: This camera does not support continuous 24/7 recording. It is activated only when motion is detected.
- System Responses:
- Alarm Notifications: Receive audible notifications via the app.
- Storage: Images and videos are automatically saved to the Micro-SD card or cloud storage.
11.3 Recording/Playback/Deletion
- View Recordings: On the "MESSAGES" page, tap "Alarm Messages" to view all recorded events.
- Playback/Delete: Use the buttons to play back or delete recordings.
- Save/Share: Screenshots and manually recorded videos from Live, History, or Cloud pages are saved under "Pictures & Videos". These files can be saved to your phone's album or shared directly.
(Screenshots show the app interface for viewing alarm messages and recordings.)
12. Storage Instructions
- Manual Storage: Go to the live video feed and record manually by clicking the "Record" button to start or stop. Recordings are saved in your app's album. Recording stops automatically when you leave the live view.
- Micro SD Card: The camera supports Micro SD cards (not included) up to 256 GB. It records continuously and overwrites the oldest recordings when the card is full.
- Cloud Storage Plan: Click the "Simple Cloud Storage" button to start free recording of 6-second videos in a 7-day loop. No code is required for cloud storage activation; it will be activated automatically after payment.
Note: If you have selected the wrong cloud plan, please contact us via the app's help section for assistance.
(Screenshots show the app interface for manual recording and cloud storage options.)
13. Power Saving Settings
13.1 Alarm Interval
This feature helps avoid repeated alarms for the same event. You can set an alarm interval of varying lengths. For example, if the interval is set to 5 minutes and the camera is triggered at 08:00, you will receive an alarm notification, but no further alarm notifications within the next 5 minutes, even if motion detection continues.
Note: This function is turned off by default. You can activate it if needed.
13.2 Recording Time
You can set different recording lengths. For instance, if the recording length is set to 10 seconds, you can view a 10-second alarm video in the cloud playback after the camera is triggered.
(Screenshots show app settings for motion detection and recording time options.)
13.3 Alarm Schedule
You can set a weekly or daily alarm schedule as needed. For example, if the camera's operating hours are set from 0:00 to 1:00 AM, the camera will only be triggered and record alarm video during this period.
Note: Up to 4 time slots can be set for the alarm schedule.
13.4 Battery Management
- The camera features a built-in high-performance battery that can last 2 to 3 months, assuming the camera wakes up 15 times per day and records videos for 10 minutes each day. Note: Battery life depends on how frequently the camera is activated. The more it is activated, the faster the battery will drain. It is recommended to reduce the "motion detection" sensitivity or turn it off occasionally.
- When the battery level drops below 20%, the app will send you a reminder to charge the camera.
- Please use a 5V/2A charging cable (included) or a 5V/2A charger (not included) to charge the video doorbell. A full charge takes approximately 8-12 hours. When the batteries are charging, the red light next to the charging port will illuminate; when the batteries are fully charged, the blue light next to the charging port will illuminate.
Notes:
- The built-in batteries are not fully charged, and the device is powered off due to safety regulations for shipping.
- Please fully charge the device before first use.
14. Multi-Camera Management
View up to 4 cameras simultaneously live.
(Screenshot shows the app interface for managing multiple cameras, including a grid view.)
