13. Power Saving Settings
13.1 Alarm Interval
This function helps avoid repeated alarms for the same event. You can set an alarm interval of varying duration. For example, if the interval is set to 5 minutes and the camera is triggered at 08:00, you will receive an alarm message, but no further alarm notification will be received within the next 5 minutes, even if motion detection continues.
NOTE: This function is disabled by default. You can enable it when necessary.
13.2 Recording Time
You can set different recording durations. For example, if the recording duration is set to 10 seconds, after the camera is triggered, you can view a 10-second alarm video in the cloud playback history.
13.3 Alarm Schedule
You can set a weekly or daily alarm schedule as needed. For example, if the camera's operating hours are set from 0:00 to 1:00, the camera will be activated and record the alarm video only during this period.
NOTE: You can set up to 4 time periods for the alarm schedule.
13.4 Battery Management
- The camera is equipped with a high-capacity integrated battery that can last 2-3 months, assuming the camera is activated 15 times a day and records video for 10 minutes daily. NOTE: Battery life depends on the camera's activation frequency. The more it is activated, the faster the battery drains. It is recommended to lower the "Motion Detection" sensitivity or disable it from time to time.
- When the battery charge is below 20%, the app will send you reminders to recharge the camera.
- Please use a 5V/2A charging cable (included) or a 5V/2A charger (not included) to charge the video doorbell. A full charge takes approximately 8-12 hours. When the batteries are charging, the red light next to the charging port will be on; when the batteries are fully charged, the blue light next to the charging port will be on.
NOTES:
- Integrated batteries are not fully charged, and the device is powered off due to shipping safety regulations.
- FULLY CHARGE the device before first use.
14. Multi-Camera Management
View up to 4 cameras simultaneously in a quad screen layout.
15. Multi-User Sharing
NOTES:
- An App account (A) cannot be registered on multiple devices simultaneously.
- One camera cannot be connected to multiple App accounts.
- However, a camera can be shared from account A to account B.
Sharing Steps:
- User B downloads the ZUMIMALL app on their phone and creates a new account. (The country selected during registration must be the same as yours).
- User A clicks "Add" in the app on their phone.
- User A scans User B's QR code or enters User B's account ID.
- User B accepts the sharing and refreshes the device page.
The process involves navigating to the "Share" option, choosing a sharing method (QR code or account ID), and then the recipient accepting the share request.

17. FAQ
17.1. Connection Problems
Q1: The camera does not turn on.
A1: Ensure the power switch is on. Charge the battery using a DC 5V/2A adapter. The charging indicator should light up red during charging and turn blue when charging is complete.
Q2: Cannot connect to Wi-Fi during initial setup.
A2: Verify the correct Wi-Fi password and ensure you are using a 2.4 GHz network. Move the camera closer to the router for a stronger signal. Set Wi-Fi encryption to WPA2-PSK/WPA-PSK. Ensure the SSID is up to 31 characters and the password is within 64 characters. Check that DHCP is enabled on the router. Avoid special characters in the network name and password. Use the administrator password if there are separate administrator and guest networks. Ensure too many devices are not connected to avoid IP address conflicts. Keep the camera at least 1 meter away from other wireless devices and metallic objects to prevent interference. Reset the camera if necessary by pressing the "Reset" button until you hear a "Boogu" sound, then reconnect.
Q3: How do I distinguish between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
A3: 1. Check your router's documentation: consult the router manual or contact support. 2. Use a dual-band router: Access router settings via computer or phone. Access and rename your Wi-Fi networks to clearly indicate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (e.g., "Network_2.4 GHz" and "Network_5 GHz"). Avoid merging bands for clear identification. Connect to the 2.4 GHz network on your phone, then connect your camera.
Q4: Why can't the camera connect to Wi-Fi after correctly selecting 2.4 GHz and entering the password?
A4: Ensure your camera and phone are on the same network. Verify that DHCP is enabled on your router. Confirm your network is 2.4 GHz and the Wi-Fi authentication method is set to WPA2-PSK or similar. Avoid special characters in the network name and password. Use the administrator password for networks with both administrator and guest options. Check Wi-Fi signal strength and remove the Micro SD card if connection issues persist. Ensure there are no excessive devices causing IP conflicts. Keep the camera away from wireless devices and metallic objects. Reset the camera if you change Wi-Fi networks.
17.2. Functionality Problems
Q5: Will the camera show red lights when night vision is activated?
A5: The camera's infrared lamps emit faint red lights during night vision, but the image quality remains sharp in low-light conditions.
Q6: What is the maximum recording duration?
A6: The recording time can be set in the app, with options ranging from 10 to 30 seconds.
Q7: Why am I not receiving push notifications on my phone?
A7: Ensure "Receive alert notifications" is enabled in the app. Check your phone's settings to allow notifications from the app. Ensure the app is running in the background (for Android users).
17.3. Device Configuration Problems
Q8: Why can't I hear any sound from my camera?
A8: Ensure the sound icon is activated for live audio. Enable the microphone and speaker function in the audio settings and set an appropriate volume.
Q9: Cannot scan the QR code on the phone (battery is fully charged).
A9: Remove the protective film from the camera lens. Clean the lens with a dry paper towel. Adjust the distance between the camera and the phone for better focus. Scan the QR code in good lighting conditions. If problems persist, contact support.
Q10: At what distance should the camera be placed from the router?
A10: The camera can connect up to 20 meters away in open areas. However, the effective range may vary based on Wi-Fi strength and environmental factors. Place the camera closer to the router if the signal is weak.
Q11: To view the camera's content, does my phone need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network?
A11: No, your phone does not need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. As long as the camera is connected to your home Wi-Fi, you can use WLAN or cellular data to view the camera.
