Thank you for purchasing the NUX MIGHTY PLUG, a versatile amplifier-modeling device with Bluetooth. It allows you to play in complete silence while enjoying high-quality musical sound. It also features a free mobile app to control built-in effects, customize, and create your own tones and save them.

The MIGHTY PLUG offers a range of effects for electric guitar and bass, including amp modeling and cabinet impulse response (IR). It also features an acoustic guitar simulator for electric guitar.

You can customize presets and create your own tone, jam along with music, and easily connect to a computer to record guitar/bass tracks.

Product Interface

The NUX MP-2 Mighty Plug features several controls and indicators:

• 1. [1/4-inch-phone-jack]: Fits all types of guitar and bass. Does not block whammy/tremolo bars on guitars with floating bridges (e.g., Stratocaster*).
• 2. [power-mute-button] Power/MUTE Button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the device on/off. Press once to mute/unmute audio.
• 3. [reset-button] Reset Button: Use a SIM card eject tool or paperclip to press the RESET button if the system is locked.
• 4. Adjust Button: Short press to cycle through preset channels with effects. Press and hold for 2 seconds to switch between GUITAR/BASS mode. Can also be used in the "Mighty AMP" app.
• 5. Bluetooth Audio/App Indicator: Connect a mobile phone or tablet via Bluetooth to play music. Search for "MIGHTY PLUG" in Bluetooth settings. When connected, the device is ready for audio streaming. For effect control, open the "Mighty AMP" app and navigate to SETTINGS > CURRENT AMP. The LED indicators show the status.
• 6. Low Battery Indicator: The LED flashes [low-battery-red-indicator] RED when the battery level is below 5%. During charging, the LED is solid [charging-green-indicator] GREEN. The LED turns off when fully charged. The device has an auto-power-off function. The RED indicator flashes for 1 minute when the battery is critically low before shutting down. Recharge promptly.
• 7. [USB-Micro-B-port] Micro USB Port: Used for charging, firmware updates, and audio streaming from a computer for music playback and recording guitar/bass tracks. Visit www.nuxaudio.com for firmware updates.
• 8. [3.5mm-headphone-output] 1/8" (3.5mm) Stereo Headphone Output: Connect headphones for silent practice with effects. Limit high volume usage to prevent hearing damage.

Operational Guide

1. Powering On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the device. MIGHTY PLUG defaults to ECO mode. ECO mode can be disabled in the mobile app. The device automatically powers off if no headphones are connected for 3 minutes when ECO mode is active.
2. Selecting Channels and Switching Guitar/Bass Mode: Short press the Adjust button to select channels. Press and hold the Adjust button for 2 seconds to switch between GUITAR/BASS mode. Alternatively, use the "Mighty AMP" app.
3. Sound Customization via "Mighty AMP" App: The MIGHTY PLUG is designed for use with the mobile app. Access all effects, amp models, and IRs, control drum beats for jamming with high-quality drum patterns in various musical styles.

Connection

The connection method is as follows:

A guitar is plugged into the [1/4-inch-phone-jack] of the MP-2. Earphones are plugged into the [3.5mm-headphone-output] of the MP-2.

Battery Charging

Use the included USB Micro-B charging cable to charge the battery when its level is low.

Important Notice: Ensure the MIGHTY PLUG is fully charged before playing for the first time. If not using the device for an extended period, recharge it every 3 months to protect battery performance for future use.
