Introduction
The NUX MIGHTY LITE BT MKII is a 3-watt desktop modeling amplifier designed for electric and bass guitars. It features advanced TS/AC-HD amp modeling, 512-sample Impulse Responses (IRs) with 36 built-in and 18 user slots, 7 presets with active functions, and a suite of effects including GATE, EFX, AMP, IR, MOD, DLY, and RVB. The amplifier also includes a drum machine and can be controlled via the MightyAmp™ mobile app or Mighty Editor™ desktop software, which supports 3rd party IR loading.
It offers versatile connectivity options, including a 1/4" instrument input, 1/8" AUX IN, 1/8" headphone output, and a USB-C port for software communication, firmware updates, and USB audio streaming, functioning as a recording interface.
The unit can be powered by an included DC adapter, USB, or 6 AA batteries.

Control Panel Overview
The top panel features controls for operation:
- INPUT: 1/4" (6.35mm) jack for instrument connection.
- GAIN Knob: Adjusts amplifier gain.
- VOLUME Knob: Adjusts master volume.
- TONE Knob: Adjusts amplifier treble/tone.
- RVB/DLY Knob: Adjusts Reverb/Delay mix level.
- PRESET Switch & Indicator: Cycles through 7 presets. Indicator color corresponds to the selected preset.
- DRUM Knob & DRUM Play Switch: Knob controls drum volume. Switch starts/stops drum beat. Repeated presses set drum tempo.
- TAP Switch & Indicator: Hold to select RVB/DLY control (indicator shows RVB or DLY status). Tap to set Delay Time.
- POWER Switch / LED Indicator: Turns the unit on/off. LED is red when on.
- BLUETOOTH Indicator: Solid blue ? when connected, flashing blue when searching.
- AUX IN Jack: 1/8" jack for external audio playback.
- PHONES Out Jack: 1/8" jack for headphone connection; mutes the internal speaker.
Operation
Bluetooth Connectivity
Connect your mobile device for audio playback:
- Power on the MIGHTY LITE BT MKII.
- On your mobile device, navigate to Bluetooth settings.
- Select "NUX NGA-3BT" to pair. A confirmation sound will play, and the Bluetooth indicator ? will turn solid blue.
Note: Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth MIDI connections are separate and must both be established for full functionality.
Using MightyAmp™ APP and Mighty Editor™ Software
These tools provide advanced control:
- MightyAmp™ APP (Mobile): Connects via Bluetooth MIDI. Allows detailed editing of effect blocks (GATE, EFX, AMP, IR, MOD, DLY, RVB), preset management, and selection of active presets for the PRESET switch.
- Mighty Editor™ (PC/Mac): Connects via USB. Offers similar editing capabilities with a user-friendly interface and the ability to load 3rd party IRs.
To connect MightyAmp™ APP:
- Launch the MightyAmp™ APP.
- Go to Settings ⚙️, select "Current Amp" as "MIGHTY LITE BT MKII".
- Tap "Click to Scan Devices" ? to find the unit via Bluetooth MIDI.
- Select "NUX MIGHTY LITE BT MKII" from the list to connect.
Preset Management: You can choose which presets are accessible via the PRESET switch ?️ by activating them in the MightyAmp™ APP or Mighty Editor™ software.
