Overview

The NUX MIGHTY SPACE is a flagship desktop modeling amplifier, offering a comprehensive range of effects for electric guitar and bass, including amp modeling and cabinet Impulse Responses (IRs). It also simulates acoustic guitar sounds with dedicated amp modeling and IRs.

The device features 34 built-in IRs and 20 user slots for third-party IRs. The included Mighty Editor™ software facilitates the loading and conversion of WAV format IRs to the required 32bits/48kHz format.

Users can customize presets using the MightyAmp™ APP (mobile) or Mighty Editor™ (PC). The amplifier boasts a flexible effect chain comprising modules such as GATE, COMP, EFX, AMP, IR, EQ, MOD, DLY, and RVB, which can be reordered.

MIGHTY SPACE supports USB audio streaming, functioning as a recording interface with routing options like Normal, Dry Out, Re-amp, and Loopback, all configurable via the APP or Editor.

Operation

Input Jack

Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack. The jack can also be used to charge the included B-5MA TX wireless transmitter when the MIGHTY SPACE is powered on.

Power Switch / LED Indicator

Toggle the POWER switch to turn the amplifier on or off. The LED indicator shows the power status (e.g., Red when ON).

Wireless Button / LED Indicator

Press and hold the WIRELESS button to engage the amp's built-in receiver (RX). The LED indicator shows connection status: RED means no signal from the transmitter (TX), GREEN means a successful pairing.

APP Indicator

This indicator turns Blue when the MightyAmp™ APP is connected to the device via Bluetooth MIDI. The APP allows control over signal blocks, parameters, and preset management.

Audio Indicator

This indicator turns Blue when a mobile phone or other player connects to MIGHTY SPACE's Bluetooth audio. Separate connection is required for Bluetooth audio and Bluetooth MIDI.

Channel Switch / Indicator

Press the CHANNEL switch to cycle through the 7 presets. The indicator light changes color for each preset. Users can select which presets are 'ACTIVE' via the MightyAmp™ APP or Mighty Editor™ software for streamlined switching.

Battery Indicator

Indicates battery status: Red when charging, Green when fully charged, Flashing Red when low battery. Charging time is approximately 7 hours, with up to 7 hours of operation.

Knob Functions

• GAIN: Controls the input gain of the amp model.
• VOLUME: Controls the output level of the amp model.
• BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE: Control the EQ of the amp model.
• PRESENCE: Controls the brightness of the amp model.
• REVERB: Controls the mix level of the reverb effect.
• MASTER: Controls the overall volume output of the amplifier.

Drum & Loop Footswitch Jack

Connect the included NMP-2 footswitch to control Loop and Drum functions. The LOOP indicator shows status: Red for REC, Green for PLAY, Orange for OVERDUB.

Channel Footswitch Jack

Connect the NMP-2 footswitch to cycle through presets (UP/DOWN).

DC IN Jack

Connect the included power adapter for charging.

AUX IN Jack

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) for playback.

AUX IN & BLUETOOTH AUDIO VOLUME Pot

Adjusts the volume for Aux In and Bluetooth audio streams.

PHONES OUT Jack

Connect headphones for silent practice. This mutes the internal speakers.

USB-C Port

Used for communication with Mighty Editor™ software, USB audio streaming, and firmware updates.

Recording

For Windows, download the ASIO driver from the product page. macOS supports Core Audio natively.

Firmware Update

Connect the device via USB to a PC. Hold the CHANNEL switch and turn on the POWER switch to enter DFU mode. Use the DFU updater software.

Speaker Out Jack

Connect an external cabinet. The output impedance is 4Ω, but it can drive 4Ω, 8Ω, or 16Ω cabinets. The internal speakers are muted when this jack is used.

MightyAmp™ APP & Mighty Editor™

The MightyAmp™ APP (mobile) and Mighty Editor™ (desktop) software provide extensive control over the MIGHTY SPACE. Users can tweak parameters, reorder effect blocks, load third-party IRs, manage presets, and utilize features like Jam Tracks. Tutorials are available on the NUX YouTube channel.
