Pairing LED Light with "Onforu" App
Step 1: "Onforu Home" App Download
Download the "Onforu Home" App from the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code provided.
Step 2: Enter the "Onforu Home" App
Register an account or log in with an existing account. Note: Your "Onforu Home" App username and password are required for pairing with Amazon Alexa and/or Google Assistant.
Step 3: Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on before connecting the LED lights to the "Onforu Home" App.
Step 4: How to Pair the LED Light
Method 1: Automatic Search
- Tap the '+' button on the top right corner and select "Add Device".
- The app will automatically search for the device. Tap "Add" when discovered.
- Wait for the device to register (approximately 5-10 seconds).
- Upon completion, tap "Done" to enter the control panel. You can optionally change the device name.
Method 2: Manual Selection
- Tap the '+' button on the top right corner and select "Add Device".
- Navigate to "Lighting" and then "Light Source(BLE)".
- Tap the "Next" button to begin pairing.
- Wait for the device to register (approximately 5-10 seconds).
- Upon completion, tap "Done" to enter the control panel. You can optionally change the device name.
Setting the light to pending pairing state:
- Power on the LED Light.
- Turn the light on and off three times: on-off (wait 2s); on-off (wait 2s); on-off (wait 2s); on.
- The warm white light will flash slowly, indicating it is ready for pairing.
App Operating Instructions
RGB Color Interface
- Select desired color.
- Adjust color brightness.
- Use presets to save frequently used colors.
- Set a timer.
White-light Mode Interface
- Adjust the color brightness.
- Use presets to save common brightness modes.
- Set a timer.
DIY Mode Interface
- Set the desired color.
- Select the rhythm mode.
- Adjust the brightness and speed.
Scene Mode Interface
- Set color's jump, brightness modes.
- Adjust the brightness and speed.
Music Mode Interface
The light will change color and brightness following music collected by the microphone.
How to Control Lights in Groups
Note: Lights must be online to be grouped.
- From any mode screen, click "More" on one of the lights.
- Select "Create Group".
- Enter a group name (e.g., "mesh RGBW Group").
- Add desired devices to the group.
- Save the group. You can now operate the lights within the group via the app.
Installation
Preparation
- Check all components for damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Estimated Assembly Time: 10-30 minutes.
- Tools Required (not included): Flathead screwdriver, Pliers, Electric drill, Eye Protection, Step Ladder.
CAUTION:
Ensure the wall switch and main circuit breaker are OFF before installation. Consult a licensed electrician if unsure about electrical installation.
WARNINGS:
- Installing this light in an ungrounded electrical system can lead to electric shock if wires are damaged or loose.
- Be careful not to damage wire insulation during installation. Avoid sharp edges.
- This product must be installed according to applicable codes by a qualified person.
- RISK OF SHOCK: Turn off electricity at the circuit breaker or main fuse box before starting installation.
Installation Steps:
- Drill two mounting holes on the mounting surface according to the spacing of the LED Light bracket (refer to diagram 'A').
- Attach the bracket to the mounting holes and secure it with screws.
- Adjust the beam direction as desired and proceed with wiring.
- Plug the light into the main socket.
