Use Case

Integration of Panasonic Ethera AC Units into a Home Automation installation.

A diagram illustrates the integration process: A Panasonic Etherea AC unit is shown connected wirelessly (Wi-Fi) to an IP network. The IP network then connects to a Home Controller or Smart Hub. This hub utilizes specific drivers to communicate with various home automation platforms, including AMX, Control4, CRESTRON, eedomus, ELAN, FIBARO, iRidium, Jeedom, RTI, SAVANT, and VERA.

Description

Direct Connection to Indoor Units

The gateway is wired directly to an indoor unit. This allows not only the control of the main AC functions such as operating mode, fan speed, temperature setpoint, but also the monitoring of errors and alarms.
